Editorial Review for Antiquarian's Delight – by Lauren McCutcheon
In Short
Also known as South Street Antiques Market, this place set up shop in a turn-of-the-century house of worship in 1983. These days, about 25 mostly unmarked, colorful booths sell their collectible old wares on the ground floor and in the basement. At the entrance, a vendor who bills herself as "Mod Girl" boasts a booth that drips with costume adornments: Bakelite bangles, sparkly animal pins, plenty of beads and baubles. Both upstairs and down, the selection is heavy on mid-twentieth century.

Insider Tips
The ExtrasIn the back of the first floor, Jenny's Vintage sells rock tees, cowboy shirts, elegant shifts and soon-to-be retro outfits from this time last year.
On the MenuDon't bother leaving the building: There's a snack bar located next to a case of old coins in the basement.

I always love coming to the Antiquarium....but I am loving it even more now that WILBUR (a sweet new vintage store) has opened in the basement. The prices are great, and the owner will help you pick just the right thing. The little stall feels cozy ...everywhere you look is a carefully placed treasure. Don't miss this place! Just what the Antiquarium (and my closet) needed.
Pros: everything so far....

Check out the new space, WILBUR, downstairs at the Antiquarian! The guy sells new and vintage clothes at a reasonable price. The space is colorful and artfully arranged in a cluttered way. Wilbur also does consignment! A fun shopping experience.
