In Short
This Mardi Gras-themed chain may be familiar to those who have visited its other locations. The inside is decorated with neon beer signage, steel seating and televisions at the bar. Live bands occasionally perform for customers sipping on fruity drinks and MGDs. Finger foods are offered for those interested in fries with their pina colada, and in the summertime, al fresco drinking offers the opportunity to take in the sights and smells of South Street.

We have gone to this place many times in the past, but I will never go there again. It used to be pretty crowded on the weekends with decent music and dancing. The drinks have always been overpriced unless you go for happy hour. Last night a group of us went around nine. The place was completely dead, but that did not stop the bouncer from harassing us about every ten seconds and calling my friend names. This place has a reputation for bouncers with an attitude but this is the first time I experienced it. There is no reason to go to a place with expensive drinks, no atmosphere, and staff who treat you badly for no good reason. In my opinion South Streets bar scene has plummeted. Go to Old City.

My favorite aspect of this place is the rows of alcohol frozen slushy drinks along the back wall in back of the bar. They have orange and tropical frozen drinks, all with unique names that I can't remember. They are all very good and take a while to drink down. The atmosphere is fun because you can sit along the balcony and soak in South St. They have some games such as foose ball which are fun to challenge other bar patrons after a couple of slushy drinks. They have huge t.v.'s on which they play sports games most nights, but I'm not into that. The only negative aspect is South Street's declining state.

Fat Tuesday's is a bar / club on South Street. The clientele is not the best, the people are not very nice inside. There is a cover charge to get in, but I'm not sure what it goes to pay for (no band or anything like that). The place is a fairly good size, but tends to get crowded pretty quickly. Definitely not a place I would recommend for a quiet night on the town, lots of girls on stage showing off, chugging contests, etc.
