Sinatraesque. Yummy quaint restaurant on the edge of the Italian Market. The portions are huge and freshly made to order. Very friendly yet not intrusive staff. It's like family. We had the Bolognese and Carbonera-both excellent. The special salad was wonderful-with mixed greens, provolone and a balsmaic vinegartte.

Great food. Bella Mia has excellent food and a great atmosphere. The people are all friendly and they know how to have a good time. Don't go here if your in a hurry. Dinner is an event and the head waiter is usually drunk. As a result, some things take a while. The check usually takes the longest, but it is all worth it.

Excellent choice!. Flawless service, huge portions, delicious food, good prices! What more could you ask? We went there because the locals we were with didn't think to make reservations at a famous Italian restauarant across the street that they were taking us to. (Three hour wait without a reservation!) We tried Bella Mia and were very impressed. It's a neighborhood restaurant, so don't expect crystal chandeliers and tuxedoed waiters, but everything was done first class!
