Avg at best. This is what people wait in line for? Totally disappointing. The service was beyone horrible. Server didn't stop back to the table once after taking the order except to drop off the check. (someone else brought food) Never got a water or coffee refill. Food was OK, nothing special. (Oh and she got the order wrong too, but it wasn't worth waiting for it to be fixed.) Ventilation inside is kinda poor. I ordered a side of turkey sausage for $3.50 and got one small patti on a plate. Don't see what any of the hype is about.

D-BAGS!. "Is it just black people, or do you hate all minorities?" was the question that kept running through my mind as we observed the lack of service being provided to us. Didn't wanna make it a racial thing, but I seemed to have made an unspoken connection with another brotha feeling my pain a few tables down. Having given Morning Glory the benefit of the doubt a few times before, my girlfriend and I still didn't expect over a half an hour to go by before we had to flag down the waiter to take our order. We got one coffee refill and no food for over an hour and fifteen minutes. We watched as people who were arriving after us were getting served before us. We felt invisible even though we were seated right next to the central kitchen. We could only watch as numerous staff passed us by time and time again without saying a word or even looking in our direction. So we were not suprised that no apologies were offered for our extreme wait time. We are never going back!

Lunch - Not So Great. July 22, 2009 Just came back from lunch at the Morning Glory. I advise that you stick to breakfast at this cafe. I ordered the BLT and expected, for the price, a whopping BLT. Not only was it skimpy on the bacon but the tomato was horrible. Pink/white flesh with a hard center and absolutely no taste. I would think that in this location in the summer that the Morning Glory could find better tomatoes. When I mentioned this to the waitperson while paying the bill, he defended the tomato by picking up one very sickly almost white looking slice, pouring salt on it and taking a bite to prove to me that it was to his liking. Humph...

I also think they should add good french fries in place of the warmed over, left over from breakfast, hash browns. They are just too heavy to eat at lunch.

The staff is rather curt and the constant sorting of silverware made for quite a clatter throughout the whole 45 or so mins I was there.

For a good lunch that is worth the $$ try Honey's Sit and Eat!

Awful!. We arrived to Morning Glory hoping it would be everything we've heard. Unfortunately we waited for over an hour in the rain only to be bumped down the list like 5 times (as a party of four we watched 4 other parties - who arrived after us - get seated)! Finally when I told the host we could take the seats at the counter he said "ok", literally herded us out of the place and proceeded to call 3 other parties inside ahead of us. I was ready to leave at that moment, but we had already invested an hour and were on a tight schedule. When we were finally called we followed the host inside, who pointed at a booth and kept walking. No menus, no drink orders (which he provided to other people). The waitress was good, the food wasn't bad (crushed up tortilla chips do not equal a corn tortilla), and the table was NASTY. I especially loved the vat of jam sitting on the table for god knows how long, with a spoon in it that's been god knows where. At first I thought it was BBQ sauce! My advice is, if you don't mind waiting an hour-and-a-half for mediocre food and subpar service - go for it. Just beware of the host with no people skills. I know your job is stressful buddy, but get your sh*t together.

Bland. The food was okay. I appreciate the fact that almost everything is homemade but it doesn't fit the taste buds of everyone. This made it more bland tasting but that's my opinion. Its worth the experience but I wouldn't go back.
