Phone in, show up or take out--this small store is strictly a pick up and go affair. Waiting for food is never boring, thanks to sports lochblaring from the television monitor. The fare is basic barbecue--brisket, pulled pork, chicken and ribs--dressed up by one of the house's two signature sauces, regular and extra hot. Topping off every meal is a piece of corn bread for dipping in or mopping up the juices.

this place deserves 6 stars. If you like food you must eat here before you die. Super delicious tender juicy mouth watering everything you would want from BBQ. Me and my buddies order their 100 wings( BBQ) for $36 and crush them for any excuse we have to get them. The meat is tasty delicious and falls off the bone. Phoebe's will go in my book of all time places one must eat at and you can trust me because I Love Food!

I am so disappointed because I always loved Phoebe's food but the last couple times I called to order the guy who answered was not friendly at all. Even though their menu says they will deliver to any part of the city for $1, they won't deliver unless you have a big order. They also refused to take a credit card (even though the menu says they take credit cards) for a big order because it was too far away....South Street to South Philly. I think it may be under new ownership the past couple of years. They kept the recipes but boy did the service go down the drain. Customer satisfaction is not a concern. Rude.

You wont be dissappointed when you order from this great take out BBQ restaurant. The food is consistant ly great and the service is on point. There is something for everyone on the menu! It is so affordable and much easier then cooking! You can get take out or delivery and have home cooked meal without the mess and time. I dont know what I would do without Phoebe's BBQ! Don't miss out, order from Phoebes!!!
