Worse customer service I have ever received by management and staff.
This restaurant does not know how to treat thier loyal customers. I have been a customer for over 15 years and the service that I received on 2-22-09 was disrespectful and humiliating. The manager -
Bill Dovas not only treated me like a piece of trash - him and his staff hung up the phone on my twice when I called to complain about the way I was treated that day.
Their website says that they appreciated their loyal customers. Well this statement is not true and I will never dine there again. I plan on going to Melrose diner from now on!!!!…
Like it better than Oregon or Melrose. I feel that this diner is much better than Melrose and Oregon put together. The food comes out fast, hot and to order. The waitresses are attentive and inviting.
South Philly's Phinest. The Penrose Diner is just that, a diner. It has that South Philly feeling, mostly all locals, and a traditional diner decor. The food is good, and you really can't expect 5 star from a diner anyway. The baked goods are absolutely delicious, and breakfast is always awesome, it's hard to not want to eat everything on your plate, which is always too much. The french toast is out of this world.…

Best Place to take the kids for a Good Meal!~. Penrose offers a great place to take the kids for a good meal. If you're tired of eating fast food and don't feel like cooking...the Penrose is a great alternative!
