excellent italian dinner. I had some old froiends in ton looking for a genuine Philly italian dinner. We canceled our plans to go to Ralph's at the last minute after I read some bad reviews on this site. I picked LaStanza by chance since I had never been there before. They we very friendly from the minute I called for a reservation (probably not necessary). THe parking lot was great and the food was relly great. This may have been the best Italian dinner I have had in 10 years. I was eating off of everyone's plate so I know that every dinner was great! Highly recommned. I will be back soon! I fed 7 people for undder $200 with apps and desert plus we broght home the leftovers which I just enjoyed for lunch!!

absolutely amazing. I've been to La Stanza several times and each time I eat there it just keeps getting BETTER and BETTER!! The food is amazing, service is great, and also the environment inside is exquisite. When you're sitting there enjoying your food it's as if you are in Italy!! I reccomend anyone to go there for whether you are booking a party or want to have a romantic dinner :)

One of the best Italian eateries in South Philadelphia. We had dinner here several times and it truly is a taste of Italy. Anyone looking for a great Italian restaurant this is it. Excellant sevice is provided by the friendly wait staff.The lighting is romantic but ,not too dark.Great selection of high quailty food and reasonable prices.Plenty of FREE parking right next door to the restaurant.Add La Stanza to the list of many wonderful Italian restaurants in South Philly.WHO NEEDS CENTER CITY??? Fabulous!!!. I recently had a party for my son's Christening at LaStanza. I was truly amazed at how accomedating this place was. The owner was so helpful and gave us whatever we needed. The servers and bartenders were so nice and the food......... Oh man!! My husband and I had veal picante and it literally melted in our mouths!! Almost everone that attended called us the next day to say what a nice affair it was and how they enjoyed the food!!! I highly recommend it for a quiet dinner or a nice sit-down dinner party. I think they also do buffet parties. Check them out!! We are going for dinner again soon.
