Do not use this company!!!!! They don't even have a website. This should say something about their professionalism. Fly by night bogus cab company. Greedy owners, unprofessional staff. Great mechanics. Shoddy work ethic. Lacks customer service skills.
SO/SO. I have had times when my cabs were extremely late. One time the Dispatcher with all the ignorance she could must hang up on me - I've had my words with her and I'm guessing because I was a frequent customer my rides seemed to be better. I will advise - visitng the Manayunk area or anywhere city avenue, they have a hard time knowing where to go so make sure you request a driver that knows where they are going and emphasize that 'YOUR NOT PAYING FOR IT'.
Worst cab company ever.
The cab was 40 mins later even after i called 4hrs ahead of the time I needed the cab..The dispatcher Was RUDE and Unprofessional, and so was the SUPERVISOR who said he didnt have time to talk to me because he was busy..
I dont know how this Company is even still in business But I will NEVER take this cab again..
Not ONE apology from the staff or the driver(who arrived on the phone and help a conversation the whole ride).
The one good thing I will say is that my driver arrived on time after setting up the ride the night before. After that, the entire trip to the airport was a complete disaster.
Since this was a business trip that I was on, I wanted to pay for the ride with my company credit card as I do with other cab companies. When I didn't see a credit card reader, I asked the driver if he took credit cards. If he said no, then I would've found another way to get to the airport. He said, yes, but he didn't seem to happy about it. Even after I got in the cab, he asked me to go to an ATM first.
Then, he said that he didn't have enough gas to get across town and needed to go the gas station. At that point, I got concerned about running late. He assured me that we had enough time. Then, the driver gets out of the cab and leaves the meter running. When I yell out of the door about turning the meter off, he responds "You can turn it off". Maybe the idea of hiring a cab has changed, but I'm pretty sure I'm paying HIM for the ride. I don't expect to have to do any work, so I made him turn the meter off.
He says he'll charge me a flat rate to the airport and I ask how much. He says "$50". Keep in mind at this point, he still hasn't gone into the gas station to pay for any gas. At that point, I realize that $50 is way more than what I normally pay for a ride to the airport from where I was coming from - even with a 20% tip. I tell him that I'll give him $40. He agrees and goes to pay for the gas.
When he comes out, he decides he doesn't want to take me anymore and calls for another cab. He still hasn't pumped any gas yet. At that point, I got pissed off and got out of the cab so I can walk 2 blocks back to my car to drive myself. As I'm pulling my bags out of the trunk, he's wasting my time trying to get me to stay and wait for the other cab, which was about half a mile to a mile away. Even if the cab was around the corner, there's no way I'm giving my business to a cab company like this.
At the end, I barely made it in time for my flight. I would much rather ride SEPTA than give $1 to Germantown Cab.
Worst Cab Ever.
Cabs are always late and the cabs reek of smoke. Worst of all, when I tried to call the company back to ask if the cab was still coming (1 hour LATE) the dispatch woman was AWFUL.
She called me OBNOXIOUS for calling to ask where my cab was, when it was supposed to arrive an hour ago. I have never had a customer service rep be so downright rude in my life and I can't believe she still has a job. When I told her that I had been waiting an hour and forty five minutes, she told me that I was wrong and hung up on me. The cab NEVER showed up. All in all, it was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with a taxi service, EVER.

Firstable, a girl on the phone was not very friendly. I asked if she could call me back when she could arrange a cab for me and she said ok, never called me back.
A cab arrived in 30 mins, which was ok since I was told so, but the driver was smoking in the taxi while waiting us coming out of our house. The window were broken and we had to bear the smell of smoke all way.
This is not end of the story. I don't know if he did that to earn more money or just didn't know the way, but he kept going to wrong direction again and again and we stuck around our neighbor(Manayunk) for 30 min, while we needed to get to Center City within 30 min.
Can't believe this happen before my very important business meeting. The guy should be fired.
NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. if you don't have another choice, RATHER TAKE BUS OR TRAIN!!!!!!
Late. I called for a cab and was told a half hour or less. 45 minutes later I called to see if a cab was on its way, and they hadn't even sent one out yet. a half hour after that, one showed up at my door. I live a mile away from them. The cab smelled like smoke. Don't use this service unless you don't have a specific time to be somewhere.
Unprofessional. I have been picked up by their service and have smelled alcohol on the driver. Also their dispatch operator is always rude.
horrible, horrible rude. Rude, late, horrible service from start to finish. Try someone else if possible. Philadelphia does not serve folks without a car well at all.
Thank You. I would like to say that this company is one of the best around. I changed from Main Line Cab, they are very rude people. Germantown Cab have the nicest drivers. I would highly recommend them and the are very quick +++++++++
