In Short
Even browsers who aren't overly exacting in their search for literature are bound to stumble on a reasonably priced gem, whether it's a hardcover first edition of David Foster Wallace's "Girl With Curious Hair" or a slightly worn paperback copy of Barbara Ehrenreich's "The Hearts of Men." Bookhaven also has an excellent children's selection, and the people behind the counter are always ready with a suggestion from the store's huge inventory. Bookhaven's selection and depth are impressive. Its breadth lends itself to entire afternoons spent browsing the shelves.

Bookhaven has a fine selection of used books on two floors. Look for the stairs in the rear left corner. The owners are aways ready to examine used books for sale, providing twice as much as a credit for more books than for cash.

Bookhaven is located near the Art Musuem. it is a tiny shop compared to most other places, but there are a few treasures to find if you look hard enough. Ricky, the owner helped me find what I was looking for in the way of rare SF magazines and I had a few bargains thrown in. They buy second-hand as well.
