In Short
This corner spot, turned snug and exotic with saffron hues and North African objets, attracts legions of grateful neighbors. Scents of rosemary and cumin waft from the kitchen. A coastal Mediterranean menu draws on aromatic hints of Morocco and Spain. Your best bet is the hearty, honey-tinged tagine of tender lamb, herb-encrusted salmon with couscous and tangy cranberries, or sea salt-crusted sea bass, weighted with white bean and sausage ragout.

Executive Chef/Owner Mustapha Rouissiya brings his character and love of food into all the dishes served here. Brunch is by far my favorite - though any meal at Figs is sure to please.

Figs is definitely a gem of a restaurant in our city! The place is very small, but the food is phenomenal! To date, I have tried plenty of items on their menu, incuding filet mignon, tuna, crabcake (seasonal)...they were all so delicious!! The price is VERY reasonable for the quality of food that you are receiving. Two things to know: it is a BYOB and they only accept cash. So if you are going there for a special event or just to have a relaxing evening, be prepared with those two things!

I've been to this place twice now. A bunch of us ordered different entrees and tried each others' dishes. The service is great and all the menu items are tasty. I must say though, that the cous-cous mixture for the lamb was salty...I couldn't finish it. The lamb was delicious though. The duck is excellent...but the spinach that comes with it is salty. If they cut down on the salt for those things, I would be able to taste the food. Otherwise, the food is really great. The duck dish is my favorite so far.
