NEEDLE HAPPY VET. NEEDLE HAPPY VET- I called to make an appointment to have my cat neutered and the receptionist asked if I wanted to get shots done as well. I said no. I dropped my cat off at 8:30am to get him neutered and the receptionist asked if I wanted to get shots done. I said no. The receptionist called me at 1:25p and left a voice mail asking if I wanted to get shots done. I called the office back and told the receptionist that I said no to shots on the phone when I made the appointment, I said no when i dropped my cat off that same morning and I'm saying no right now. I also said that if the vet does the shots *anyway* that she won't get paid for doing it. Why is this woman so eager to stick my cat? I don't know if its a fetish or a way to get money. I already made an appointment elsewhere for next month to get his shots updated. I know his personality and how he copes with stress a lot better than she does. Surgery plus shots may have really been too much for him in one day. His diet is excellent and he gets vitamins as well. Beyond that his fur is 100% silkier and softer than the cats that she keeps in her office. Her cats feel like brillo pads.

Her rates are reasonable but I don't care to be hounded about things by someone that I'm paying for a service.

Called Crying, Left Smiling. I can't say enough about these gals and guys. I called Crying on Wendnesday around noon, and My Cat Lover was in their office being triaged by 2. We thought for sure he was going to have to be put to sleep, as we had been dealing with him having a very agressive cancer in his arm, for about 6 months, and it refused to go away, after removal of the lump (also performed by Girard Veterinary Clinic). Instead of putting him to sleep they insisted/ strongly suggested we amputate the leg. Now it is Friday and he is back home, without his leg BUT STILL WITH US. Threw all of this very stressful event for our cat and us, they have been positive and extremely kind, to both our cat and my partener and myself. I have been to many Vets and there is just no comparison. My Partner and myself know our cats but have little knowledge of this extreme medical condition that we have all been threw with Lover (the cats name). When we needed a knowledgeful vet and clinic on our side, that is just what we got with Girard Veterinary Clinic. There is only 5 stars on this rating but we would give them 100 stars if we could!!!!!!

know what they are doing. Wow, my first time here. I took my pug, Cleo here because she looks like she has eye infection. It turn out she doesn't. The vet makes sure that there is nothing else wrong with her. I had to wait for an hour but it's worth waiting. And the vet fee and medicine are very reasonable price.
