There's always room for me on the machines or in classes. They have a lot of good instructors and trainers. I've gotten into the best shape of my life in the shortest amount of time and actually enjoyed it. The place is a little utilitarian but there aren't alot of grunters or groupies. There's also none of the pressure to buy bogus products like in certain chain gyms. The music in the morning is great.

For $60/month you get: - Dirty equipment - 2 stationary bikes (they have 4 but god for bid you try to use the two bikes that are over 10 years old and hurt your a$$). - not nearly enough cardio equipmnent - out dated classes - and TV's that only carry public channels. God for bid if you want to watch ESPN, you cant. no ESPN? are you serious? - did I say that there were two stationary bikes? * If this doesnt convince you to join I dont know what will. Again save your money! Save your money and join somewhere else.

After visiting all the sweat gyms in Philly, I have always wondered why the Manayunk gym has the least amenities? The bikes suck, the classes are out dated, and the TV's dont even off ESPN? You pay nearly $60/month and I feel you dont get your money's worth. I would suggest LA Fitness, even though I have been a member there. All the other Sweat gyms have so much more to offer. No pool, out dated classes, no ESPN, no ESPN? really? Lack of stationary bikes, treadmills, and weight equipment.
