Just OK. I went there last night with my girlfriend as we had a $25 gift certificate. I asked the server what their portion sizes are like as I'm a big guy. The sizes he showed as an example with his hand seemed that they'd only be enough for a medium-sized bird. For $20-25 per entree, I better be full after my meal. I ended up choosing a pasta dish which I could have eaten two of. I was pleased with the quality of the food, though. I wouldn't have wanted to spend a penny more than I did after the $25 off. You can find much better options at this price point IMO. Regarding price, even if it's a matter of being on Main Street, I still expect more.
Really good. We stopped for a quick dinner at Bella where we have eaten many times before, usually the grilled vegetables and a pizza. this time we tried other dishes, the pasta in a blush vodka sauce and the pasta fagioli "soup." Both were excellent. The vodka sauce was flavorful without being overwhelming with a little prosciutto and peas. The soup qualifies as good, down to earth homemade. I will try to come close. The only thing lacking is really good bread, something more authentically Tuscan with greater density and character.
Great location, people watching and very good pizza too!. I have been to Bella many times, it's quick, easy and is at a great location! My boyfriend and I went here last weekend, for dinner, we and the puppy got a table outside! He ordered the pizza and I got the lobster ravioli. The pizza was very impressive (and surprisingly cheap), the lobster was ok, I usually prefer the fetticini alfredo or the penne rose, pretty basic, I know- but it's delicious! Our waitress was very personable and quick. We ended up ordering a bottle of wine and watching the hustle and bustle of Main Street. It was a really relaxing way to start off a Saturday night! If it's nice out and you can score a outdoor table- this little gem will be a crowd pleaser- even the pooch came (she doesn't get to eat out much!)
Reasonable, recognizable Italian fare that's as light on attitude as it is on the wallet..
In Short
This unpretentious pizza and pasta place feels homey and welcoming. With itsmustard-colored walls and Tuscan decor, the spacious dining room is reminiscent of an Italian cafe. Big windows along the sidewalk allow diners a clear view of the scene on Main Street. Choose from a wide selection of pasta, meat and pizza entrees with the addition of panini at lunch. One-size only pizzas covered fresh mozzarella, grilled chicken and pesto feed, two or three.
Never Disappoints!!!. For the money, its hard to beat this place. I have dinned 4-5 times here for dinner and once for lunch. The pasta is always "Al Dente", the bread is great, and the pizza is above average. This past weekend, I got a seafood pasta special that included lobster and crabmeat for less than 30 bucks. One of the tastiest dishes is the cheapest on the menu ($11): Penne Rose is great if you like a pinkish sauce.
Okay. While it was certainly easy on your wallet, the pasta was decidedly average as was the coffee. If you are looking for good Italian food, head somewhere else. If you just need decent food at affordable prices, this place is good. the pizza may be better but we did not try it.
