Beans Beauty Supply. I have been to the new beans in center city twice. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. I love the store because it has products that are difficult to find. I had been searching for months for a certain shampoo and conditioner and Beans was the only place that had it. I will continue to shop there every time I am in the city.

awful service. Beans has a great selection of high end products, but the sales staff makes shopping there very unpleasant.

I could not find what I was looking for and I had to not only search for the product, but for someone to help me. In the room, I saw two employees chatting with each other. I asked them if they had what I was looking for , and they both looked at me, annoyed that I was interrupting their conversation. One, reluctantly offered to help, but the item was out of stock and he offered no alternative , such as calling another store to see if they had it or offering to special order it for me. When I asked him when he expected it to come in, all he said was that he had no idea and just stood there looking at the empty space on the shelf, waiting for me to leave so that he could return to his chat with the other employee.

Even with their great selection of products, with service like that, where they couldn't care less about the customer, there's no reason to choose Beans over Sephora, Blue Mercury or even Ulta.

Good selection of beauty products..... I went to another salon on Main Street, and they actually suggested I go to Beans for my hair products! I appreciate their honesty... I went in for some shampoo and conditioner, and walked out with a new flatiron and nail polish! The staff was very helpful. I think it was pricey, but I will be back!

Since the 19-year-old store and salon has much less than a Sephora-sized space to work with, it creatively packs in its hundreds of high-end products. Owner and stylist Michael Batt and his staff offer expert service both upstairs and down. They'll gladly explain why to splurge on better tweezers, how to pick the perfect leave-in conditioner, how to save on eye makeup remover and why not to attempt self-waxing.

Very Dissapointed. I recently went into beans to get some new products and was very dissapointed not by the products but by the service. I had no help by the employees and when I asked a question about a product they were very roud and acted like they were busy and couldn't help me, later i found out the man who was roud to me was the owner and i just think if u are going to spend alot of money in a store buying a $300 flat iron people exspecially the owner should treat there customers with respect and be a little more helpful.

Great Selection, Helpful Staff. I stopped into Beans one afternoon not really sure what to expect. I was pleasantly suprised by the selection and the competitive prices. I described the type of product I needed to the sales staff and they gave me a bunch of recommendations in my price range. There was no pushy selling. I've shopped there a number of times since then and will continue to do so.

Great store!. I'm not usually motivated to fill out a ratings form, but I've been a customer of Beans for several years, and find everything I'm looking for every time. Their friendly staff is always helpful. Kudos! (I have not used the salon, so this rating refers to supplies only)
