Clown House Ain't Funny. Decent spot to ge ta meal,especially morning breakfast for the working man R woman!!! They fast N clean.Great wait staff.. MOST important issue for me is ---they ain't made me sick..from eating there....yet and I hope n e v e r do!!!

It's been a while. I've moved away a few years back and was curious to see if it was still in business. I'd eaten there for over a decade and had a chance last weekend to eat there again. Nothing has changed, the food is still good, plentiful and priced at what would be a bargain most anywhere else.

The place closes at 2pm most days but for a great breakfast first thing in the morning it's hard to beat.

Legendary Dump. Northeast Philadelphia Icon Casey Roache somehow turned this dump into legendary status. I went there once sober and vowed never to return. However the last time I was there I believe I ate 2 complete breakfasts. Then I immediately threw it up and sh*t it out, not necessarily in that order.

Great Greasy Spoon. The Clown House is the quintessential greasy spoon complete with a diverse group of local characters with lively chatter. The food is cheap and tasty- a great value. The waitresses are friendly and provide good service. If you're a tourist and want to experience a real Philly joint, check it out!
