Editorial Review for Frog Commissary Catering – by Rachel Rogala
In Short
In Philadelphia, and elsewhere, Frog owner Steve Poses is known as a culinary trailblazer who has won numerous awards and opened (and closed) several well-known Philly restaurants, including the innovative--and now defunct--Frog and the currently bustling Bravo at the Academy of Music. Originally started in the basement of Poses' Commissary restaurant, Frog Commissary Catering moved to a warehouse in Northern Liberties in the early 1990s.

Insider Tips
Know Before You GoHors d'oeuvres are often served on flowered trays, but Frog works closely with the customer to create the type of atmosphere and offer the type of food he or she wants at their special event. The staff usually wears tuxedos, and depending on chosen appetizers and entrees, food can cost around $70 a person (sometimes more, sometimes less).
