The butlered mini cheesesteak sring rolls, the brie with sundried cherry-mint relish, hor d'oeuvres and cocktails were flowing. The sit down dinner was delicious. The Salmon was perfect, the chicken was moist. The wedding cake was yummy. One of my bridesmaids loved it so much, she's now having Frog Commissary do her wedding too! See you guys in 2011
Best place to network with alumni. The Philadelphia chapter of my alumni group has held several networking events catered by Frog Commissary at The Franklin Institute. Not the same old same old. Creative, fresh and beautifully presented food stations. The specialty drinks were a blast. I hope we choose Frog Commissary again!
One man's touch transformed a tiny business into an epicenter of culinary event-planning..
In Short
In Philadelphia, and elsewhere, Frog owner Steve Poses is known as a culinary trailblazer who has won numerous awards and opened (and closed) several well-known Philly restaurants, including the innovative--and now defunct--Frog and the currently bustling Bravo at the Academy of Music. Originally started in the basement of Poses' Commissary restaurant, Frog Commissary Catering moved to a warehouse in Northern Liberties in the early 1990s.
