Great Dentist. Dr. Hoffstein has been my dentist for over a decade and he always provides superior care. His cleanings are always thorough and complete. Dr. Hoffstein and his staff are always friendly and attentive to all of my dental needs. Thanks to him, my teeth are in great shape and I look forward to using him as my dentist for many years to come.

#1 DENTIST. I have been going to Dr. Hoffstein for 5 years and always leave feeling clean and refreshed. Not only is he very thorough, but he is also informative and spends time going over any x-rays or suggestions he may have with me. His staff is also very accommodating when making an appointment. It is no surprise that many of my family members and friends treat with Dr. Hoffstein as well. I could not ask have more confidence in a dentist.

Great Experience. I've been going to Dr. Hoffstein for 12 years now, and I've never had a bad experience. I just had my first fillings, and it was a breeze. His staff is extremely thoughtful. His receptionist, Nancy, is up to code on the latest insurance information and answered every one of my questions. I would highly recommend Dr. Hoffstein to anyone looking for a good dentist on the Main Line.

All around horrible experience. I have to say that I'm surprised that Paul Hoffstein is actually a licensed dentist. At his office, he did his own cleaning, which would be fine except it was the fastest and least thorough cleaning I've ever received. It literally took about 5 minutes. He also told me that since my teeth are in 'such great shape', I would only need bitewing x-rays every 3 years - yet all of my molars except one have at least one filling, I have 2 crowns, and at my last dentist visit, before I moved to the area, I was told that one of my heavily filled back molars was crumbling in one corner and I would likely need a crown there soon. That dentist showed me in the mirror what he was talking about, and it is very easy to see the problem. This dentist took no note of it and said it looked fine when I pointed it out to him. I also believe the general standard is to have bitewing x-rays once per calendar year, every 2 years at the longest. I truly feel that this man was either paying no attention or had no idea what he was doing, and I assume that it goes without saying that I will never let him near my teeth again.
