Cool Vintage Clothing and costumes.
Nice collection of vintage clothing and jewelery. They also have costumes and accessories. Just lots of really cool and interesting stuff to look through. Big store. It is worth your time to stop in and browse around. I found some really cool retro style sunglasses, and a great pair of leather boots at a good price.
They said they possibly may be closing later this year, so get in there and check it out. I hope they stay open, not too many vintage places around like this.
It is near Allens Lane in Mount Airy.
awsome store. whenevr i need to exchange something, i ride there and these people are so nice and helpful, i can get what i need and the exchanges are free once you pay for something and you can exchange it for something for the price you already paid for and its really close by..
Unique vintage clothing, jewelry, costumes and linens. This store is amazing -- you never know what you will find -- from beautiful, hand-made vintage linens to authentic 1920's flapper dresses to leather skirts and jackets to 1950's sweaters and coats to antique jewelry! Most items are one-of-a-kind. There are a few reproductions. The costumes are numerous and stupendous! If you need a drop-dead outfit for a party or a winning costume for a play or party or beautiful linens to decorate your home, this is the place to go!
Smells like Granny's attic, looks like the combined wardrobe of Carol Brady and Holly Golightly..
Vintage finds and costume-store goodies stock this funky Mount Airy shop. Among upscale vintage finds are loads of defunct local labels: a mink-trimmed Paramount of Philadelphia coat, a silk floral pantsuit by the Strawbridge Shop. Many items bear original tags. There's not much the store doesn't have. Mummers' costumes and crinolines, tuxedoes and theater leftovers, colonial garb and magician's capes, and of course, Elvis.
This is a thrift store. If you want to save some cash on your clothes, then this is the place. if you want costumes, you had better have a very creative mind and the ability to enhance it yourself. Yes an art school student who can sew would be able to alter some of these items to look like a costume, but they don't really have any "ready to go" outfits. They do have a stock of cheaper hairsprays and other stuff that was OK. It would take too much work to look goo with this stuff.
Great Store!!. this place is terrific if your looking for some new "old " clothes, awesome jewlery, cool accessories and a custome of any type. i was there for the 1st time last fall looking for something for halloween and i have been there many times since. the employees are so nice and VERY helpful, and the prices are great!!
