The Absolute Best Spa Experience. I had given up on things like facials. I found the spas a little too self-aware and the staff kind of vacuous. Not to mention the insane pricing. And waxing? It has to be done, but I was rarely ever happy with how artificial my eyebrows looked. Spa3000, in Chestnut Hill, changed my mind. More specifically, Kate Brown there did. The place is beautiful without being intimidating. The staff is fantastic! Warmer and more human than a lot of the robots usually employed from the reception desk to your skin care specialists, and quick to tell you if the services you are getting can be packaged in a way to make it more economical. In this day, particularly, that is very much appreciated. Kate is a dream, and when I walk out I look great and feel great, and my eyebrows look neither like caterpillars nor Barbie draw-ons. The complimentary and wonderful teas, the great nail services, it's all makes for a truly great experience.

Poor Quality. Was so looking forward to trying a new place and getting a relaxing massage. Unfortunately, I got nothing close to that. I got rushed for my massage and the masseuse was very poor and not skilled at all.

Horrible treatment and service. Made an appointment for my husband and I. We were given our massages only in 40 minutes, not what we paid for which was 50 minutes. When I talked to the manager, she was unprofessional and rude. I left a message for the owner who never responded but had someone else do it. In speaking to this individual, it was clear that the unprofessionalism is rampant. Will never go there again.

Poor Service. I attended a recent event at the Wayne location. When I originally telephoned for the required event appointment, I was told 'you have the first appoitnment'. I was delighted and the first to arrive for the event . However I was not the 'first' appointment. When I questioned the Spa Director I was told that the other client (who arrived after me) 'also has a 6pm appt'. Excuse me? A double book even though only one scan machine? The Spa Director just faked smiled and just rudely turned and walked away from me. Then after my scan, mini facials were offered. There were three chairs in place for the service. One woman was already being serviced and the other two chairs were empty. So I took a seat in the middle chair but was never approached for a mini facial, even though another woman sat in the remaining chair after me and was then immediately given a mini facial service! So I waited a little while longer but still no Spa Director or staff approach to make sure I was being serviced. So I just awkwardly got back up and out of the facial chair. The atmosphere in general was disorganized and cold. And some staff members seemed distant and tense. I would not recommend this place to anyone that desires a genuine caring and sincere pampering Spa experience. Don't waste your money! like I did.

Wonderful Massage. I finally tried out 3000BC after reading reviews online. I have chronic back pain and massage helps me tremendously, but my usual therapist recently moved away. I had a massage with Andrew and let me tell you, it was the best experience of my life. He was extremely personable, knew the body well and the massage was like heaven. Request Andrew if you're getting a massage, you won't regret it! Very friendly staff, down to earth, well worth it!

two for two. i go to the wayne location for massages. this weekend i couldn't get a massage because they were booked in wayne, but the staffer offered to send me to chestnut hill.

i figured it was better to stick with what i knew, so rather than call another company, i would just go to the other store.

i had a great massage there too.

I Loved IT!. I must say that I was very impressed by the services and the whole look of the place. I have been to Toppers before and I had a not so great experience and it was way to cold in the facility. Anyway I love the choice of teas that they offer you in the waiting room and snakcs was very nice. I spent a full day at the Spa and they even feed me lunch. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would recommend anyone to this spa. Also take cash for the tips.

A terrific experience!!. I recently visited the spa, I'd never been there before so I didn't know what to expect. It turned out to be better than I thought. I was immediately put at ease by the courteous and attentive front desk staff. I was scheduled for a massage and a facial. The massage therapist Lilla and the esthetician Ann Marie were excellent. When I arrived I was kind of stressed, but Lilla's strong, capable hands worked every kink out of my body. She was very professional with a pleasant demeanor. I then went to Ann Marie for a facial. She customized the facial based on the needs of my skin which I really liked. My skin was left revitalized and glowing. When we were done she took me to a quiet room to relax and have tea, no pressure or hurrying around. It's not always easy to find great, caring therapists but if you don't go to 3000bc and see Lilla and Ann Marie for your treatments you are missing out.

More stress than relaxation. I never write reveiws but I believe my experience today warrants this. I observed several appointment errors concerning other clients just in the period of time I sat in the waiting area. Not to mention that I arrived to my appointment 10 minutes early but was notified 25 minutes later that my waxing service could not be rendered because the wax was not ready since the warmer had not been turned on that morning and I'd have to come back later in the evening or another day. I found that to be very irresponsible and unprofessional. I made my appointment 2 weeks in advance AND I was not the first appointment that morning. The staff apologized but did nothing to remedy the situation appropriately. Asking me to come back in 6 hours or the next day is not a solution especially when I live in another state. The facility was goregous but the staff is very questionable...you may want to request someone other than Annamaria if you're still brave enough to want to go there. My friends have all canceled their standing appointments.

the best facial ever. i received a spa finder gift card for my birthday, i noticed that 3000bc accepted them. i'm a spa junkie and have been to many spas in the us and europe. i had a facial with kate at the 3000bc in chestnut hill. i've never had an esthetician be so professional. my skin was glowing when i left. do your skin a favor and go to kate.
