In Short – Part of this bakery's charm is that you have to know where to look for it--about five blocks beyond the clusters of specialty shops and restaurants that make up Chestnut Hill's shopping district. My family has been going to this bakery since I was a child and it's still as memorable. The staff is so friendly and I can pop in any day to get a birthday cake for my kids or if I have a craving for their incredible frosted brownies. They get more creative every year! What a gem of Philadelphia.

I found this bakery on the Fox Philly hot list and it's great! The raspberry scones are different than the ones I had in England but nice. The chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting are insanely good. I also loved the iced shortbread which they don't always have. Cute place!
- Pros: reminds me of my grandmother's desserts
- Cons: only open till 1:00 on Sundays
