Disappointing morning stop, small selection. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I was very disappointed by this Night Kitchen. I'm used to New York and New Jersey bakeries that have bread, but when I walked into Night Kitchen there were strictly pastries. There were no rolls, loaves of bread or croissants. There were cakes. One choice of muffin, blueberry. I got the muffin and it was very dry just an hour after they opened in the morning. I tried the pumpkin pound cake and was very turned off my the texture. It was like crisco shortening with a hint of pumpkin. Two small cases, one with cakes, tarts, and pies, and the other with smaller pastries.

I will not be returning to give them another try. Maybe the cakes are good, I haven't tried them. But a disappointing morning stop for a muffin to go with my coffee.…
