I used to go down to rittenhouse for great styling and color now i can go half the distance and get a better style and have the pleasure of actually liking the way my stylist Lisa,the owner creates a style that is always on the A List.
The Powder Room next door also creates new looks in makeup for many women with their makeup and not overpriced skin care.They treat you like a friend not a customer.
Talentless, overpriced and rude.
Awful. You can't even tell you had your haircut when you leave. On top of that they are very high priced, (they charge you for a "comb-through" of color!) Their color is awful, looks drab and brassy and they don't deliver the shade (or anything close to it) that they promise. I could have dyed my own hair for 1/10th the price and it would have looked better.
I don't mind paying for good quality, this place doesn't offer it.
Friendly Atmosphere. High tech is a great place to get your hair done. Not only are the stylist all very experienced they are all very friendly as well. I've been going to High Tech for the last 5 years and recommend it to all my friends and family.

A REVIEW ABOUT "HIGH TECH HAIR SALON."
MY APPOINTMENT WAS FRIDAY (MAY 25, 2007) TO GET MY HAIR HIGHLIGHTED TO LOOK NICE FOR THE MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND DOWN THE SHORE. MY HAIRDRESSER, MARIE, TOLD ME SHE COULD MAKE ME LOOK LIKE A PHOTO OF REESE WITHERSPOON THAT I HAD SHOWN HER. I TRUSTED HER TO MAKE IT LOOK NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. WHEN ALL WAS FINISHED...I LOOKED IN THE MIRROR AS SHE WAS DRYING MY BURNT WHITE HAIR WITH ROOTS. I WAS FEELING VERY UPSET BUT I GAVE HER THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT. I PAID 135.00 PLUS 15.00 TIP...AND WENT HOME. THE NEXT DAY DOWN THE SHORE I WASHED IT AND TRIED TO DRY IT OUT...THE BRUSH WOULD NOT GO THROUGH MY HAIR...BECAUSE IT WAS SO DAMAGED. I HAD A HUGE TIGER STRIP ABOVE MY FOREHEAD WHICH MADE ME LOOK RIDICULOUS. MY HUSBAND WAS SHOCKED AS HE LOOKED AT MY HAIR...MY MOTHER ALSO GAVE HER OPINION THAT MY HAIR LOOKED BAD. I THEN WORE A BASEBALL HAT FOR 5 DAYS, CONDITIONED MY HAIR VIGOROUSLY, CRIED, AND WAITED UNTIL THE SALON OPENED ON TUESDAY MORNING. THAT MORNING I SPOKE TO THE RECEPTIONIST AND SHE TOLD ME MARIE WOULD CALL ME BACK...I DID NOT HEAR FROM HER SO I CALLED AND FINALLY SPOKE TO MARIE. SHE THEN SAID SHE WOULD FIX THE PROBLEM BUT AFTER BEING HUMILIATED THE FIRST TIME WHY WOULD I LET HER TOUCH MY HAIR THE SECOND TIME? I THEN ASKED NICELY FOR A REFUND SO I COULD GO GET MY HAIR FIXED. I ASKED HER TO RESPECT MY WISHES OF NOT BEING SATISFIED. SHE SAID THE OWNER, LISA, HAD TO CALL ME BACK. I DID NOT WAIT FOR A PHONE CALL INSTEAD I WENT INTO THE SALON AND SPOKE TO BOTH MARIE AND THE OWNER, LISA. THEY TRIED TO CONVINCE ME MY HAIR WAS OKAY WHILE PICKING AT MY HAIR WITH THEIR FINGERS. I ASK...WHY WOULD I LET YOU FIX MY HAIR IF IT WAS OKAY AND AFTER YOU DAMAGED IT THE FIRST TIME? THEN ME AND MY CHILD AGE 2 WERE THROWN OUT OF THE SALON BY THE OWNER. SHE SAID SHE'D CALL THE POLICE AND TOLD ME NOT TO COME BACK TO HER SALON EVER AGAIN. I WAS SHOCKED/ NOW MY HAIR IS SO VERY DAMAGED ...SO THINK TWICE BEFORE GETTING COLOR AT THIS SALON.
