very nice. I like this place, been there many time. The food is very good, BUT don't get there something like pasta or seafood, really not their specialty even though it's on the menu. I usually get there pizza, or burgers, or salads, appetizers are great too. I got pasta there once it was just terrible, couldn't eat it. Otherwise, the place is great, stuff is very polite.

Best Pizza in the North East.. The food at Gearo's is consistently awesome. Their pizza is so good, we'll actually drive 1/2 hour to pick it up. Their mozarella sticks are really fresh, their hoagies and cheese steaks are top notch. Even their fries are better than what you'll find most places. I read a review that compared Gearo's to Applebee's and I made my wtf? face. I'm sorry, but that's like comparing Mara's to the Olive Garden.

My only complaint is that the service is generally only passable. No one's ever been rude to us. They're just kind of indifferent. But honestly, being raised in the midwest, that's my opinion of most of the service in the Philly area. Oh, and I wish they'd do a better job cutting the pizza. We usually have to recut it ourselves.

If you love american style, artery clogging pub grub you won't find better than Gearo's.

good for big groups. sometimes, if you go in late at night, they aren't as friendly. They try to rush you out, especially if there's only one or two people in the party. If you have a big group, they are usually more amiable. The food choice is your typical Bennigan's/Applebee's style. Lots of appetizers, salads, and sandwiches. Some entrees, but nothing that stands out.

It's the best. Gearos is a little known treasure. The food is excellent and the service is impeccable. I recently threw a party for 40 people at Gearo's and they did absolutely everything to accomodate us. Mark, the manager, is absolutely the best. He worked with us and actually went above and beyond with the food, price and service. Everyone is still raving about how much they enjoyed the food, how much they offered and the excellent service. Gearo's has become my favorite spot.
