Vince's Pizza is the World's Tastiest!. Negative reviews from wannabe competition do not count. Nobody with an IQ above 70 would take seriously their sub literate, obviously bogus bad reviews. Vince's phenomenally delicious pizza is one of life's greatest pleasures, that is why their store is almost always as busy as Grand Central Station. The complaint about slow service is true, so I always phone in my order. Occasionally, Vince's screws up by forgetting to make my pizzas. I forgive them for that because they often have to deal with dozens of customers at once. Vince's pizza is remarkably inexpensive considering how scrumptious it is. All in all, Vince's is by far the best pizza parlor within 100 miles and perhaps beyond.
Ignore the obviously fake reviews from jealous competitors (like Al B. and pizza1000000) and uninformed consumers. I am a real customer who loves great pizza shops like Tacconelli's, Charlie's, Santucci's, and, of course, Vince's. Vince's sells the most delicious pizza in the universe. For proof, read the rave reviews on Vince's Google page and elsewhere. Note that the good reviews there get voted up, but the bad ones get voted down. Since you can only vote once from each computer, that proves that most real consumers love Vince's. Better yet, count the customers at Vince's, then count them at Al B.'s or pizza1000000's shops. Guess who will have 20 times as many? Unlike most pizzerias, Vince's is SO good that they do NOT advertise, deliver, nor post fake rave reviews for themselves. Vince's even takes their phones off the hook! I doubt that fake-review-writer pizza1000000's pizzeria has done that even once, yet Vince's is forced to do it several times per week. Need I say more? Vince's pizza is extraordinarily tasty and an excellent value to boot! I am an extremely demanding critic, yet even I love Vince's pizza! Just be sure to call in advance and confirm that your pizza will be ready when you get there, lest you have to wait for an hour or more for them to make it. Vince's is almost always busy, so please be polite, patient, and understanding. They do not tolerate abusive customers. Yes, Vince's employees can be cranky, lazy, indifferent and slow at times, but that is to be expected considering the heavily populated, nasty neighborhood they are in.
CHEF BOYAR DEE PIZZA WENT OUT YEARS
So, drive to New York City and kidnap someone who knows how to make pizza. Remember when you and your mom would make pizza from a can, well its still alive and not tasting so well here at this desperate, to be "pizza place". You will dine on this while cheap posters of various folks like Frank Sinatra and the Sammie Davis Jr hang crooked on the walls. Bottom line save the gas and just order Domino's. At least you know your getting crap.
all the Good reviews or Fake From Bob
M. & Ben F. & Howard C. , there are a dozen pizzerias within walking distance which have far superior food for half the price without the unfriendly attitude & fake reviews !!!!!

A favorite of mine. I have been eating Vince's pizza ever since I left Charlie's on the boulevard and have always loved it. It is usually consistent but once in awhile misses the mark. The first time I went to the new location it was chaos and people were all over the place and the service was horrible. I couldn't get a second drink and, for the first time I can remember, left no tip for the waitress. I won't stop going back simply because I love the pizza but if the service doesn't improve, I might go much less often.
LOUSY ATTITUDE AND LOUSY PIZZA.
I recently had the opportunity to visit the new Vince's Pizza on Grant Ave. in the Northeast and had a horrible experience.
It's near impossible to reach them by phone and when they did answer, I was put on hold.
They recently moved form their prior location; also on Grant Ave. They should have stayed put.
The pizza at best is lousy and their attitude is even worse!
I'd never go back.
There's plenty of other good places to enjoy a pizza in a much more pleasant atmosphere and be treated with more dignity and respect.
They have a lot to learn about food quality, customer service and care and loyalty to their patrons and customers alike.

Horrible. Just moved into new location. Snowing out, no one in when we sat down. Horrible service, bad attitude. People coming in 15 minutes after us gettting pizza. Server (Owner Wife) attitude, she was doing me honoring waiting on me. Pissed I questioned her, well been customer for 20 plus years. Last time, maybe need to get server make over.
Good Quality ingredients. I just tried this pizza. It was evident from the business that there is a great product turnover. I have never had the cheese on the bottom before, but I liked it. My kids werent choking on the cheese like they do on other pizza. The sauce was great, not acidic. It was a little sweet. I would probably order it without the oregano next time. Vince told me to say ask for no greens next time. I liked the service. They were efficient for such a busy place.
Bad, bad pizza. Giving up on pizza in the NE..
More evidence that people in the Northeast have no conception of how pizza is meant to taste. I've heard about this place many times sinces moving to the area, and after finding mostly greasy, mediocre greek-style pizza, I decided to give it a shot.
It was awful.
Crust: Had the taste and texture of a stale cracked.
Sauce: Bitter and overly acidic. You could strip paint with it.
Cheese: They clearly use cheap, low-grade cheese. They slice it, instead of shred it, and place it under the sauce. It turned into a solid, rubbery sheet that fused to the crust. And it again, it tasted awful.
Man, I really, really miss PIzza Villa. I think I'll just make my own, unless someone finally opens a decent pizza joint in the NE.
Great Pizza. I have been eating this pizza since it opened 21 years ago. I have found that the pizza is made of fresh ingredients, and is consistently good.. I agree sometimes that the service lacks grace, however, it is very very busy, and they dont give personal attention. when they are that busy, and the old guy on Friday night is really hard of hearing. I had to tell the last reviewer though that Vince's sons have always been nice. The guy with the beard is not his son but a manager. He is too old to be one of the sons. But back to the pizza. The dough is made fresh every few hours, It is a thin crust. The use their own blend of spices--I order mine without that on top. It is not too expensive, I think with tax a 16 inch pizza is 11.00 plus change. I work in burbs and those pizzas cost about 2 dollars more. It is personal taste. I like a pizza with cheese on the bottom, and a lot of sauce on the top. They dont have to be my friends, just the people that sell me good pizza.
