The ladies at L & H really know their stuff. I went to many bridal shops and found L & H superb in every area. Their dresses are gorgeous, and I really appreciated that they stayed within my price range when I was trying on dresses. They are very efficient and worked as a team to get me in and out of dresses....one person prepared the next dress while I was changing out of another. They also used clips to allow the dress to fit as it would when ordered....something they didn't do at any other place I visited. The dressing room is private, has great lighting, lots of mirrors. I was the only one there while trying on dresses. I did not feel at any time rushed or pressured to buy a dress. I found the ladies' comments about the dresses very insightful, additionally they asked if it was ok to give feedback and were very attentive to how I wanted the experience to go. If you're looking to find a great dress in a comfortable atmosphere L & H is for you.

This was the third shop I went to for my bridal gown. I was planning a destination wedding in the Caribbean. This was just before the popularity of beach weddings, and was I pleasantly surprised that they carried a simpler collection of dresses than I was finding elsewhere. When I arrived, the parking was a challenge, I thought the window displays and style of the shop was a little dated, and the store layout was a bit tight and cluttered, but once I was greeted by their staff, those thoughts quickly left my mind, and I felt like I was the only customer in the place. I described what I was looking for and by listening and looking at me my dressing room was quickly filled with dresses that exceeded my expectations, in the right sizes, too. After trying on many, I loved the front of one dress and the back of another. With the owner/seamstress’s help, we figured out a way to get the best of both worlds. I purchased the dress with the front I liked, which was significantly less than the other, and some additional fabric and copied the back of the other to customize my dress. It was PERFECT! It was a great collaboration and a pleasure working with them. I preferred the honesty and openness of the staff over those other shops that will tell you what you want to hear just to make the sale. Thank you L&H for making me feel special on my special day!
Pros: honest, knowledgeable staff, very accommodating, helped customize my perfect dress!
Cons: poor parking, dated displays and decor, tight and clutterd layout
