Not a snobby place!. Ok, I usually don't write reviews but was compelled to do so because of the review above this one.

Josephs is a family type Italian pizzeria, you want fresh mozzarella go to Carrabas..C'MON! It's a quaint place very nicely decorated, neighborhood family Italian restaurant, it's not snobby, the food is really good, large portions and down home, you want fancy go to moonstruck next door and pay 120+ for 2 people. I love Josephs, it has a friendly atmosphere so what if the waiters/waitresses are young college age kids, ya get what ya pay for and with the great food and them some. They are very helpful, and did I mention the food is great big portions? It's clean, and the prices are good. PS. Our waitress brought us fresh Mozzarella, maybe someone did not explain them selves clearly? It came with tomatoes and EVOO drizzled on it. It was delicious!

they don't know what 'fresh mozzarella' is. I am first one to review, and it already had 4.5 stars beforehand, how does that happen? I had a Margherita pizza. As a true Italian restaurant, they should know what that is. The menu read - "sliced Plum tomatoes,, fresh basil and mozzarella. " (it didn't say fresh mozzarella, but it also did not say plum tomatoes, mozzarella and fresh basil, eliminating the ambiguity). Just to be sure, I asked the waitress, "it comes with fresh mozzarella, correct?" Of course, she assured me it was so, not even knowing what 'fresh mozzarella' is, she just assumed I meant 'not stale'! And the pizza was made with the regular shredded mozzarella that their plain pizza comes with.
