I agree whole heartedly with those who
have expressed the opinion that you should not use this cab company. I was told that a cab was "on its way" three different times--and each time the cab did not show up. Each time the estimated time was revised--and after over an hour, still no cab arrived. I had to get a neighbor drive me to the airport or I would have otherwise missed my flight.
Dishonesty is not the way to build a loyal customer base. I wouldn't wish this kind of aggravating experience on any one. Perhaps, they are willing to change. Or, as in the case of the woman, who hung up on me when I inquired again about the cab--maybe they simply don't care how they respond to potential customers.

Hire new staff and driver's that will actually show up for their jobs! Take this from someone who has been using your company for 3 years now, seriously.

I hauled a cab, unfortunately I was picked up by this company! I informed the driver that I only had a credit card and asked if it was ok, (a disclaimer, I should not have to make) He grunted, in which I mistakenly took for and 'ok'.
Upon reaching my destination, I told him that I will need a receipt and to let me know when to swipe my card. He said "What? You asked for a receipt!" I said "Yes, which is normal when paying with a credit card." He then told me to "JUST GET OUT"
Yes, I have lived here long enough to know, that I should always have cash on me which 99% of the time, I do! Long story short, I was in a bind tonight and had to pay with a card (which apparently is unacceptable, despite it being one of my rider's rights!)
I am a mid thirties, and a working professional!! I have NEVER ever been spoken to this manner!! He acted like he was doing me a favor by picking me up and driving me home!! Seriously?!
I told him that has not heard the last from me. No one should feel bullied for a simple cab ride! I then called Quaker cab to lobby a complaint. The operator, told me that their supervisor 'Bridget' was unavailable, but could not tell me her last name- possibly she just went by Bridget' like Madonna or Cher. Neither could he give me her phone number in the event that I get disconnected. I was then forwarded to her voicemail, in which I left a message, in which I AM SURE she will not return.
What kind of crackpot business is this?! There's not supervisors for anyone to talk too when you call! I suppose this is why their drivers and operators do withever they want.
I have also called PPA to complaint. I hope they take this seriously, there are so many people out of work these days, you would hope the ones that have jobs do it the right way! How many other people have this happen to all over the city and people just put up with it?!
NEVER USE THIS CAB COMPANY!! I can only hope they go out of business. Who treats customers like this?!
NEVER USE THOSE CABS!!! Very unreliable and bad customer service!!! The cab never came to take me to the airport. I called every 5 min and the operator lied to me every time that the cab is 5 min away. 40 min later I had to finally drive my own car to the airport and park it there for days. I almost missed my flight. The customer service never returned my phone calls when I tried to complain.
Do not use Quaker City Cab if you need a cab. I ordered a cab to take me to the station at 4.45am for a 5.15am train. At 4.40am I called to check that the cab was on its way, and the person confirmed that it was almost there. When it did not arrive by 4.50am, I called again, and was told that actually, they "didn't have any cabs," and they couldn't help it, but would send the next available one. They didn't know when that would be. Eventually they said, "7 minutes," but when it wasn't there, I woke up my husband, who had to take me to the station. While in the car, I called to cancel the cab and spoke to a person who was incredibly rude. I asked that person to make sure the cab driver did not call our home number because my children were sleeping, but when my husband returned, the company had called multiple times for no reason and woken everyone up. They should be put out of service as they obviously are not capable of providing cabs at specific times, and their treatment of customers is unmatched--not in a good way.
Worst cab company. This taxi company should not be allow to offer service. 1. They show up and if your not there within 5 mins. They leave. The driver I once had tried to ripp me off. The cabs smell nasty. The call center are rude. They will hang up on you if they dnt feel like coming out to certain locations.
Worthless. I ordered a cab, which arrived at 1:46PM. At 1:51PM, I was leaving my apartment and watched the cab drive off. When I called dispatchers and gave my name, they said "The cab had been waiting a very long time," and hung up. They were rude and gave poor service, I will try All City Taxi in the future rather than Quaker City Cab.
