got a killer tat by braden!.
I went in with an idea and braden laid the whole thing out beautifully. he added a bunch of little details that I didnt even mention, it was like he was reading my mind because it looked so good! Im going right back there to get another tat done as soon as I get some extra cash!

old school desogns poor service.
went in for a cover up job. got about 2 seconds of the guys help i explained what i wanted he said look around and walked away . I asked again for some help and got ignored. Add in the poor service with the old as dirt designs it makes the place useless. the place was much better when bear and charlie were there alot.

If you want a SERIOUS tat.
This was my second tat that I got a couple days ago. My daughter and my Goddaughter also got tats. Brad inked me and I'm lovin' it. I showed my beautiful art to two of my inked colleagues at work. They are on their way down to Brad as we speak. If you do not understand the "culture" of a tattoo shop and of the artists (as in one of the reviews I read before I decided on Eddie's), you might feel uncomfortable and you probably don't belong there anyway. If you are serious about your ink, Philadelphia Eddie's (and Brad) is where you need to go. I'm already planning my next design!

horrible.
i won't judge the rest of them, but DO NOT get a tattoo from braden. he did a terrible job. first of all- he pretty much dissed the tattoo i wanted. and proceeded to put it a couple inches away from the spot i requested (yes after he the sticker in the correct place). i have never written a bad review in my life but i felt compelled to write this. I don't want anyone else to go through the disappointment that i had.

A great east coast tattoo in Seattle!.
I met Dave at his booth at the Seattle Tattoo Expo. I went there hoping to pick someone to give me my first tattoo and was amazed at how many artists and ideas there were there. I was excited, but wanted to make sure I got just what I wanted for my first tattoo. Dave took a few ideas from what I said, drew up a design free hand and came up with exactly what I wanted on the first try. The design is great and the color is perfect. All my friends and family have been so blown away by how great the tattoo looks that they've (almost) forgotten to give me a hard time about getting a tattoo! I'm originally from Connecticut, so it was fun to get an east coast tattoo in Seattle!

Relaxed,professional and kick-ass....
Just got inked by Pat @ Philadelphia Eddie's and I am extremely satisfied. He is helping me to fix a poorly done tat & I have another appointment with him in 2 weeks, but I am so excited I think I am going to go in sooner!!! He did beautiful, free hand black & gray flowers/roses & it is beautiful. Pat is very talented & helpful along with the other guys in the shop. I trusted him completely & can't wait to finish it!!!

talented AND friendly.
Eddie's Tattoo was great! I went with a friend of mine and we knew they closed at 8 but coming from Jersey we didn't get there until 7:30. They still took us and were very patient. Braden did my tattoo which was writing vertically on the side of my torso. The tattoo is phenomenal; the shading and cursive script are amazing. I am very picky (as anyone getting a tattoo should be, after all, they are permanent) and Braden was very friendly and patient through all my "can you make it bigger? no, smaller. no, bigger. a little more left, a little higher up." Personally, I have been very frustrated in the past with being treated rudely by tattoo artists, and it was so nice to not have to deal with that here. Also, the shop is very clean, and they check during the tattoo to see if you need a break or anything. I will go to Eddie's for all of my future tattoos.

The Best Tattoo Shop on Earth.
I have only been to one place to get my tattoos, and that place is...Philadelphia Eddie's Tattoo. As far as I'm concerned, there is no other place to go to for a tattoo (other than Miami Ink's, from what I hear) than Philadelphia Eddie's. The artists that work there, Troy Timple, Bird, Charlie...they're all awesome.
I definitely recommend that everybody go to Philadelphia Eddie's for a tattoo. And I would recommend to everyone that if you do go to Philadelphia Eddie's for a tattoo, definitely as for Troy. He has done three of my four tattoos.

Although a bit rough around the edges, this Chinatown parlor is friendly to all and a Philly rite of passage.

Topper Rocks!.
I have been to 5 other artists (at other places) before going to Topper. Now, he is the only one I'll let work on me. He has skills. His pin-up girls are the best. His "Asian Style" and "Old School" work is beond comparison.
I'll be back again.
