Best unknown place..... I hear that Doc's used to be so boring....Not any more!! The new owner and bartenders are so awsome! Everyone there is so much fun! They make sure to make everyone feel comfortable. You see students from Jefferson and U Arts having a ball. Cool thing too is being able to go upstairs to play pool or go listen to music from a band. Had such a great time

GREAT SURPRISE. I haven't been to Doc Watson's in over a year, b/c the food was only ok and the service sucked. so i stopped going. but my friend drug me out to Doc Watson's last friday and i had the best time!! there were a lot of good looking guys that hanging out there!!! there's a new owner and the service was a LOT better. the DJ was a lot of fun. the upstairs had bands and was totally packed, but there wasn't much of a wait for the pool tables. it was definately the best time i've had in a long time. you have to check it out.

Holmes may not hang here, but lots of Washington West locals and medical students do.. The Scene
It's not. About the only reference to the mythos of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is a wall of framed pictures of London, Sherlock and his faithful sidekick. On the first floor, TVs are tuned to ESPN and the juke box plays classic rock while Jefferson students sporting scrubs linger in booths. The crowd--lots of business folks and locals--is heaviest on weekends and early weeknights. Dimly lit second and third floors offer two more bars, two stages for live music venues and a couple of pool tables.

The Draw
When it comes to eating at the Doctor's Pub, it's best to keep it simple. The menu offers a variety of entrees and appetizers, but stick to standard bar food. Chicken fingers, Garden burgers and French onion soup pair well with a pint--or two--of Guinness or Sierra Nevada.
