During the weekend, it's mostly young urban types clad in disco shirts. The females are few, except for the occasional woman out on the town with a gay friend. For more gender, preference and age diversity, try a weekday night. If the clientele doesn't hold your attention, monitors throughout the bar play videos and campy vignettes from popular TV shows and movies. The upstairs bar also has several PCs with AOL access.

The first 2 Tuesdays of every month Woody's hosts Snacks, from the creators of Making Time. I have only been to Woody's on numerous Tuesday nights, so I can't vouch for how it is on other nights, but the place was majorly hopping every time I've been there, and good times were had.

Even though I am a strait female, I had a really good time at Woody's. The music was really good, the drink prices were reasonable. I danced and had a lot of fun. My only complaint is that it seemed like the male bartenders overlooked me to serve the male customers first. I was not the only girl to feel that way. I got over it to enjoy myself plenty.
