What People Are Saying About Santa Fe Burrito
Featured Review

In Short – Students in scrubs and stethoscopes file past a string of neon blue lights, shouting out burrito orders to friendly counter clerks. Native American murals, birthday-hat fiesta mobiles, and a cactus for every booth create a casual setting. Fresh salsas star on a menu featuring mostly chicken and veggie burritos. Better-than-average tortilla chips crunch of earthy corn. The best cheap burritos are black or refried bean, basic and filling with digestion-friendly, slow-cooked contents.
Editor's Tips
- Know Before You Go:
- Substitute a wheat tortilla for traditional white.
- Save Money:
- Ask for a card, come back for more and your 10th burrito will be on the house.
- The Extras:
- If you're still hungry on your way out the door, grab a milk- or dark-chocolate covered pretzel or a caramel turtle supplied by Lore's Chocolates.
- Save Time:
- During evening hours, free local delivery is available for orders over 10 dollars.

This is the best place in Center City to eat good, clean mexican food. A great lunch spot that has the best salads and some healthy eats on the menu. The servers are friendly & professional even under the stress of a long line.
- Pros: Better than that imposter on 7th and Walnut!
- Cons: None.
great burrito
by thisisnosix at Citysearch
We tried this place for the 1st time and will go back. The food was fast fresh and inexpensive. No waitress, place your order, find a seat and after a short wait food is done. There are a variety of burrito fillings and two sizes, even veggie fillings. Its a small place,we arrived a little after 1:00pm. Not too too busy. so music, bright artwork. would recommend.
- Pros: fresh food, fast service and good variety, inexpensive alternative to mickey d's etc.
- Cons: probably busy at lunch rush.
A solid, reliable taco experience
by eugene2945 at Citysearch
Having read the preceding review, I feel obliged to counterbalance the invective of a disgruntled first-time-only-time customer with the opinion of a reasonably regular customer. First of all, the preceding commentator is correct; this is not the place to go for an ueber-authentic Mexican culinary adventure. They serve Middle Eastern burritos, California burritos, and burritos with veggie burger and ketchup. But their ingredients are fresh, and their product is consistent and reasonably economical. I mainly stick to the black bean tacos, and they are a uniformly satisfying, inexpensive lunchtime option.
- Pros: solid bean tacos
- Cons: no hot sauce on the tables
Gross and Disappointing
by missychelle at Citysearch
I have NO idea how this place gets such a high rating. The food is vile, not at all "mexican" or even "tex-mex". The hot sauce isn't hot at all. The staff are obnoxious. The place is dirty. The whole experience was a disappointment. Save your money for the better burrito places in the neighborhood.
- Pros: none
- Cons: everything
