best movie venue. I love the Ritz theater! The whole experience is so different than the average movie theater. No commercials, lovely artwork displayed on the screen prior to the movie, decent trailers and better snacks. It makes the whole center city experience so memorable.

Underground films fit the bill at this artsy mutiplex.. In Short
With the Ritz chain serving up Old City's movie offerings, Miramax's latest feel-good foreign film or a Sundance sensation is never far afield. Forgo the stadium seating of the newer multiplexes at this old-school art house. The screening rooms, in keeping with the low-key nature of most of the theater's offerings, seat about 100. Photos of Old City buildings flash on the screens before movies start. On Wednesdays, films are discounted.
