Pick Rob! I used to be the kind of girl who got her hair cut once a year and dyed at home with Clairol Brazen Raisin. But then I met Rob at East End and he showed me the light (and the superiority of a professional dye job.) I've been going to him for two years now and will forever (or until he leaves to be a professional fisherman...chat him up about striped bass and he'll love you.)

Seriously, the man is a magician with color. I'm pretty sure he can do anything. And he's always up on the latest trends - he talked me into ombre highlights waaayyy before the Hollywood crowd jumped on it.

Also, miracle of miracles, have him give you a Brazilian Blowout. I used to have what my family called "cavewoman hair," super frizzy and poofy. Rob gave me a brazilian and I've been waking up with movie star hair for months now.

I always get a ton of compliments on my hair, and I am happy to share my secret (and super dreamy) weapon - Rob at East End.

Mark Rocks. Mark is the greatest hair stylist i know in philly, i got the greatest haircut from him ever. all i had to do was tell him what i was envisioning and when he was done my hair looked perfect. thanks alot mark you rock

the best stylist ive ever had. mark at east end is so amazing at what he dose that is takes my breath away. if you put aside his personal fashion you find a beautyfull person who is realy patiant

youll never be board with mark. as for east end there never a dull moment they are like a family

let get back to mark if you looking for a cut and color that takes your breath away you must see mark youll be satified with my recomendation he is a true asset to east end take my word there five stars to me

one of the best stylist in center city. Its been a year since Mark started cutting and coloring my hair i think it makes me an expert on his flair for beauty

his cuts are precise color is beyond words

Mark is Greatest Stylist/Colorist Artist Ever!. Mark is Perfection! Not only is he Nice and Friendly, but also had the best Cut, Color and Style ever. Would highly recommend Mark and East End Salon as place where you can relax and get pampered and leave feeling and looking Great. Make East End Salon and Mark your next appointment for yourself and you will be thrilled. Thanks again Mark for my great experience and will be back again.

Pamper yourself at East End. Mark is new to East End and he deserves a shout out because he takes his time with you to create the look you Envision for yourself. He is so not lazy like most stylists. Excellent with color, and I have lived in Old City for 15 years and tried several good people.

He was able to take my Jewish/Cuban dark Curls and cut in many layers and lots of highlights to create a sexy,

smooth and shimmery style that actually holds up well, in bad weather. Mark gives a delicious professional scalp massage If he has the opportunity to wash or rinse your hair. You will leave happy and relaxed. He is soft spoken, sweet and colorful, trust me you will feel taken care of.

Brazillian Blowout. Where do I begin??? This was the best experience of my life!!! I have had curly frizzy frizzed hair for years - and was in complete denial of what I could have! I know they say the grass is always greener on the other side, but honestly, this is the greenest it could be! I had my hair done approx 2 weeks ago - and I went from using product after product -and having it take 15 min to dry my hair witha diffuser -then putting more product in my hair - no to mention the handful of conditioner I woudl go thru each time I washed my hair - and now...I use a special shampoo and conditioner - and viola - its amazing - my frizz is gone - and my hair is straight. I use barely any product at all - and I have very long hair!!! And it is silky smooth like strings of silk - no lie - its unreal!!! It has a little wave which adds a lot of body to the straight look - my friends are amazed at how amazing it looks - and people who havent seen me - dont reconize me - ITS THE BEST CHOICE I EVER MADE!!! Go see Robert Woolfort - that is who did my hair - and you WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!

Rob is a Miracle Worker. So, I never write reviews. Honestly, I'm too busy. But once in a while, someone makes your life so much easier and better by just doing their job WELL. That's Rob.

I've got curly, wild, hard to manage hair. I've lived in NYC, LA and Boston...and have never been able to find someone who will not only LISTEN to me, but take what I say seriously...instead, I've had so many hair stylists do whatever they want, or not admit to their lack of skill in cutting/coloring curly hair....then paid an enormous fee and left near tears.

Then there is someone like Rob, who is an absolute artist...he WANTS to make you look amazing, takes pride in his work and would never let someone walk the street without a haircut/style/color that he personally felt showed them off and was done with skill...so GO SEE HIM! I promise you will be really happy!

Not to mention, I'm a tough customer...but once I realized how good he was I wasn't as mean and got to know him as a person...and he's warm, hilarious and fun. He makes it a pleasure to get your hair done, and you'll leave with a big smile and feeling gorgeous! Total reasonable prices for a cut/color that would have cost four times as much in LA or NYC (and probably would have sucked)...

Rob is the best!. My hair was always super frizzy and not easily managed... Rob suggested I get the Brazilian keratin treatment and now my hair is amazing! I don't even have to blowdry it or straighten it when I get out of the shower - it dries really nicely and feels like silk! I moved to NYC recently, but I like this place, AND ROB, so much that I come back to Philly just to get my hair done. Thanks Rob for making my hair AMAZINGGGG :)

Caitlin is the best!. I have been seeing Caitlin for years. She helped me grow my hair back after it was all cut off. She is very fast with the blowdryer. I have thick hair, and other sylists take forever to dry it. She makes it more beautiful in half the time. She can instantly identify color problems and correct them. She is good for anyone, but I think especially good for those of us of a certain age. She does wonderful, fashion forward, yet age appropriate cuts. I also love the rest of the staff there!
