not quite worth the money. The room (deluxe) was lovely and spacious. However, there were several items that were disappointing given the hefty $250/night price tag. For instance, the "river view" was indeed there, but nobody mentions the highway sitting between the river and the hotel. With the window open the noise is quite disturbing. Visually, streaming cars tends to distract as well. Also, little things that might not matter in a cheaper room, bothered us at the Penn's View. Such as only 1 robe and 3 pillows for a double room. The A/C was so noisy that when it kicked in the TV could no longer be heard. And lastly, the sheets were a bit threadbare and the mattress could have benefitted from a good pad or feather mattress. Overall, the Penn's View offered a very pretty, spacious room but was not worth the high price tag.
