My most excellent restaurant experiences.
The entire experience is something to be enjoyed. In an era where customer appreciation and satisfaction are taken for granite Sfizzios stands far above the rest. Having eaten at the restaurant several times a year for the past 9 years it is the one gift that I have unselfishly given myself for my birthday for more than 9 years that make having birthdays worth while.
I recommend Sfizzio's to those who are in love, falling in love, those who are not sure of their relationship status or if you just want to enjoy an adult atmosphere with good food minus those things that prevent you from enjoying a superior culinary experience.
Although my daughter accommpanied me to Sfizzio's when she was younger and enjoyed the food & atmosphere she can really enjoy/relate to the experience more appropriately as a young lady.

Great Place to Eat. Scenic restaurant with great window view. Love the fact you can see the chefs making the food in the kitchen. The meal started off with warm freah bread with carrots in olive oil and sundried tomatoes. Loved the sundried tomatoes. For an appetizer, we had the shrimp baked in mozzerella and marinara sauce. It was amazing. Then we had the special Tilapia with mussels and clams in a red sauce and it was delicious. My husband had the chicken marsala and it was also top notch. Ended with some really great tiramisu. Service was also great.
good food.
Everything was very, very good here. The food, the waiter - everything was great. I had an entire bass spoon filleted at my table - the chicken saltimbocca was excellent. The waiter was helpful and very good.
In response to some other postings - who goes into Philly and eats Gnocci - get real.
Mediocre at best. Nothing about this place stood out, and the things that did stand out did so because they were bad. The decor was cheesy, the wait staff were novices, and the place was pretty empty on a Thursday night. My gnocchi was good but average, but I was with a large group - and most complained about their entrees. I would not recommend this place. True, it is close to the Ritz, but there's also another Italian place right there.
better then olive garden c'mon fo. We dine on a sunday night and the food was good not awesome but good..... , the salad verde greens was enough for two... the bill without drinks was 36.00..... not so bad. I would try it again very close to the ritz. my dear husband like it as well!
Don't Eat Here. We ordered dinner through Twins Delivery ffrom Sfizzio. The food quality was awful. I did not enjoy my appetizer, I ordered the Lumache Allo Sffizio, the escargot tasted absolutely disgusting and retained the flavor of the can they came from and the flavors of the tomato, spinach and garlic were not married well. My Fettuccine Al Funghi Mahi lacked an abundance of mushrooms, and after compromising my expectations and attempting to enjoy the entree I found a hair. I threw out both entree and appetizer. My friend ordered the Portobello Alla Griglia, not up to par and the Mezza Luna, which was cold, overcooked and did not contain all ingredients according to the menu. Overall, the dining experience was HORRENDOUS. We had previously contemplated eating at the restaurant, that will now never be a reality.
