In Short
Classic rock club: simple, dark and smoky, with reams of flyers papering the walls to announce upcoming shows. The bar itself is another story. The ornate wooden carving--complete with red-eyed gargoyles--was made in England and imported to the States, where it has been serving Khyber drinkers since 1876. There's usually at least one good show a week, the music of choice being rock. It's also the place to catch up-and-coming acts before they hit the big time.

This bar was possibly one of the WORSE bars I have been to in a long time. The bartender (who thought he was some cool guy) took a 20 from me and gave me change back for a 10 then told me I was lying. Laughed at my friend who asked for a wine spritzer because apparently people don't drink those? - We are definite rock fans and the actual "Bar" has potential to be fun-if they got rid of the dorks that work behind the counter. Um, weezer called, they want their look back.

I think this is the longest running bar in the city. It's small, tight, and usually crowded. I go to hear music and they get good shows. They do pile on the gigs though and some start quite late. It's loud - I think the sound system could be better. Still it's worth it - I've seen some super shows here over the years.

This bar is a great bar. When I went there , there was not a lot of people there but it was still fun. Gram and Jason were two of the nicest people that I have met. I was there from Ohio and we have nothing like that there. Thanks for the great time. :)
