Editorial Review for Annenberg Center – by Maura Johnston
In Short
Opened in 1971, the Penn-affiliated Annenberg Center was bestowed on Walnut Street in an effort to inject some culture into the Delaware Valley. PENN Presents is respondible for programming and the center has hosted--plays, concerts, dance performances, and even the occasional political convention. The Annenberg Center is made up of three theaters: the Zellerbach Theatre, the Harold Prince Theatre, and the Studio Theatre. The Zellerbach is the largest of the three, with 970 seats.
