Terrible. I went there for a haircut. The old man who cut my hair didn't say a word the whole time. He grunted at me about what i wanted and then proceeded to butcher my head. I actually had to fix my own hair when I got home...there were giant patches of hair that he completely missed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!

Terrible. WOW, that was the worst pedicure. I don't even think I can call it a pedicure. My 2 year old niece could have painted my toes nicer. She actually used a different color on my one big toe (without telling me) b/c the color I picked was "too old and like glue". "But it matched". WOW. My feet actually feel dirty... I can't wait to go home and scrub them clean since the water my feet were soaking in was probably not sanitary. Ewww Im so grossed out. Never going back there. What a waste of 30 bucks.

Great service, Great price. I had my hair cut and colored. The color was great and the stylist cut my hair perfectly.

She listened to my specific requests and got it right.

They also have manicures and waxing.

I will be back!!

Great Barbers. barbers at josephanthony are great one isbetter than the other.im astudent at drexel and have been going there for three years now,always a good haircut espically from the guy with the gotee.

Dana is wonderful. I've never been happy with Center City salons. The cuts are way too expensive (and usually cost extra to have the finished cut blow-dried!) and the stylists are very often uppity and obnoxious. My son's female roommate, who always has great-looking hair, recommended that I try Dana at Joseph Anthony's. Although I have to take a bus all the way across town from the Broad Street area, it is well worth the trip, because Dana has never given me anything less than a perfect cut and she pays attention to me when I describe the look I want. She's friendly and down-to-earth, as are the rest of the staff there. I get the same great cut there for $30 that I would pay at least $75+ for in Center City. I've never had my hair cut by anyone else in the salon, so I can only highly recommend Dana.

Joseph Anthony Hair salon. I have been a customer of Joseph anthony's for 2 years now. Dana has always done my hair. She is very professional and understands what I want. I will never go to anyone else AGAIN!!!!!! Dana was off the day I needed my hair done, so I was talked into going to ALMA, I did because I had somewhere to go. MISTAKE she was the worst!!!! This woman had no Idea how to cut hair or blowdryhair. Not alone it took forever!!! I would never go to Alma again. I do recommend Dana , but if she is not there WAIT or go somewhere else!!!!

Great hair-cuts and hair-styles!. I have naturally very curly hair, and have had horrible previous experiences getting a decent hair cut. This includes very expensive (aveda) salons. Based on the recommendation of a friend, I went to Joseph Anthony for a trim and a temporary hair straightening. Noel was my hair stylist, and I could not have been more pleased! Not only did she do an amazing hair trim, but she made my super curly hair straight and look absolutely beautiful. I have gone back, and had Noel do several other things (permanent hair relaxing, additional hair trims), and have always been pleased. Not to mention, the hair cuts are very reasonably priced (around $40 for women). The only issue is, it's a barber shop and not a salon, so no frills included. But, I would always prefer getting a GOOD haircut, rather than having a glass of wine and over-paying for a haircut I don't like. I recommend Noel, at Joseph Anthony's!

Brook is awesome at hair color!. I got my hair died by Brook, and it turned out great! And the color has lasted longer then any other place I have gone. Over all, the people there were very nice and welcoming, and I would highly recommend it!

Pedicure. I had a pedicure this afternoon and it was horrible. I could have done a better job myself. The paint is sloppy, the area was uncomfortable, and the services were almost null. They slap some cream on and paint your toes. I would NOT recommend this to anyonw.
