In Short
Antique carved wood sculpture adorns the red walls of a former row house turned Thai bistro. A lengthy menu offers carnivorous and vegetarian versions of classic and imaginative dishes, featuring fresh, crispy vegetables and pungent and fruty sauces. Main courses include a pad Thai and fiery and creamy red curry with peanuts and either chicken, beef or veggies and tofu.

I have been coming here for years. One time I left because i couldn't take the bad service anymore. But I grew thick skin ended up back there because I think they have the best thai in the area. Street parking is relatively easy. There is one particular waitress there who is the worst and sadly, she never takes the day off. She must be related to the owner or something. Don't come unless you don't mind mediocre to poor service but good thai. Kinda reminds me of the "soup naz!" on Seinfeld. p.s. love their mango sticky rice!

I lived around the corner from this place and absolutely love their food! It is perfect for an inexpensive but really great lunch or dinner. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the service is generally very quick. I would recommend the Pad Thai with veggies and tofu :)

Lemongrass serves some nice dishes: soups were excellent, "Jack and Su" was alright, very fresh and with tasty flavors, but oddly pasty in texture, and covered in far too much spinach. My boyfriend reports that the "Drowned Noodles" (a chicken noodle dish) are nice but a bit heavy, and my mother thoroughly enjoyed the "Vegetarian Lover". I'm vegetarian, and there were more vegetarian options than I've seen at some other Thai restaurants, but there wasn't much variety among those options. Decor is tasteful and prices are fine. However, the service was the worst I have ever experienced in a restaurant. Even the waitress's first words were rude -- "order now; we're closing", even though it was 40 minutes before closing time. She rushed us into ordering before we were ready, literally standing at the table and asking repeatedly whether we were ready from the moment we sat down until we gave up trying to make well-thought out selections and ordered (about 3 minutes after walking in), and she ran off before we could even order drinks. She spilled water on my mother and didn't apologize or offer help with cleaning it up, acted extremely irritated when we asked for water refills and takeout boxes, and just acted generally surly and rude. I would never go back -- I don't want to buy dinner from someone who seems dedicated to making me feel miserable. Dining out is supposed to be fun and relaxing, and the food just wasn't good enough to make me willing to put up with that kind of attitude.
