Bland food. Horrible service.. From all the rave reviews I had expected so much more but was very disappointed. The Coconut Soup was bland. The Pad Thai was tasteless, mushy and contained chicken that was dry and overcooked - as if the whole dish had been sitting around for days. Worst of all was the service. Our waitress was sullen, scowling, as if she preferred an empty restaurant. I think her dream will come true sooner than she expects.

Great Food. I ate Thai food for the first time September 19,2011. I have to admit I def enjoyed it. My only issue would be the quality of service. The servers SUCKED. The food made up for it though. I will go back but will pay little to no attention to the lower then par service..............

Roaches. Oh my goodness!!!! I just had the worst experience at lemon grass tonight...7/25/10. Typically, I love eating at this restaurant. The food was very good to me and because of that I referred many people there. But tonight, I was eating my drunken noodles w/tofu and out of nowhere I saw two roaches crawling on the table. At first I thought , "whats that " , when I saw the little one but then a big one started crawling up the little vase with the flowers in it. I told the waittress and she said, "oh sorry", but still charged me for my appetizer that I had. I paid for it because I was tired, had a long day at work, and would have felt bad because I usually have a good experience there but I shouldn't have paid anything. I use to frequent there often and the rude waittress doesn't bother me, I actually find her entertaining but I won't be going back. I NEVER write reviews but that was ridiculous and just disgusting. Ugh, I feel sick thinking about it....I should just go and throw up now.

love the food, hate the service. I have been coming here for years. One time I left because i couldn't take the bad service anymore. But I grew thick skin ended up back there because I think they have the best thai in the area. Street parking is relatively easy. There is one particular waitress there who is the worst and sadly, she never takes the day off. She must be related to the owner or something. Don't come unless you don't mind mediocre to poor service but good thai. Kinda reminds me of the "soup naz!" on Seinfeld.

p.s. love their mango sticky rice!

Okay food, unbelievably bad service. Lemongrass serves some nice dishes: soups were excellent, "Jack and Su" was alright, very fresh and with tasty flavors, but oddly pasty in texture, and covered in far too much spinach. My boyfriend reports that the "Drowned Noodles" (a chicken noodle dish) are nice but a bit heavy, and my mother thoroughly enjoyed the "Vegetarian Lover". I'm vegetarian, and there were more vegetarian options than I've seen at some other Thai restaurants, but there wasn't much variety among those options. Decor is tasteful and prices are fine.

However, the service was the worst I have ever experienced in a restaurant. Even the waitress's first words were rude -- "order now; we're closing", even though it was 40 minutes before closing time. She rushed us into ordering before we were ready, literally standing at the table and asking repeatedly whether we were ready from the moment we sat down until we gave up trying to make well-thought out selections and ordered (about 3 minutes after walking in), and she ran off before we could even order drinks. She spilled water on my mother and didn't apologize or offer help with cleaning it up, acted extremely irritated when we asked for water refills and takeout boxes, and just acted generally surly and rude. I would never go back -- I don't want to buy dinner from someone who seems dedicated to making me feel miserable. Dining out is supposed to be fun and relaxing, and the food just wasn't good enough to make me willing to put up with that kind of attitude.
