To be short: my usual stylist was busy and I decided to give it a try based on a quick internet search (unfortunatelly, didnt take the time to read the reviews carfeully). I have naturally curly, blond hair that get compliments on weekly bases and stands out wherever I go. To sum up, I left the salon lookinf exactally like a poodle. The stylist pulled me and pushed me rudely mutiple times instead of asking me to turn or change position, he uncrossed my arms. I tried to take it easy as usually I am very outspoken, But the whole thing was so weird that I barely new how to react. DO NOT GO to this place. I felt almost like he fucked up with my hair on purpose

I have been to the salon and Joseph has cut my hair everytime. In between visits to Signcurl and in the course of my business travels I have tried salons in NYC, UT, CA, FL and others. No one can content with my hair. Joseph does the perfect cut everytime. My hair is fuzzy. It is not really curly or wavy. My niece says it is like yeast - in humidity it rises to 3x its normal size - fuzz head! It is perfect after Joseph cuts it and it is practically wash and go and falls into soft curls! Thank you< Joseph!

Nice location with Big Ego Owner. Its depends on the day of the week if service is good or not. The owner has a big ego and staff is always leaving. I followed the stylist for a few years.

Fantastic job with my hair. The atmosphere was great. Joseph was excellent from beginning to end. He cut my hair just the way I wanted and needed it cut with out me saying much. He also showed me how easy it was to style it after I was done. Very good attention to detail. Will be going back again soon.

What a greasy mess. One of the worst haircuts ever. If this is the Signatures Salon from several yrs ago I went in after reading a great review in the Phila Inquirer Sunday paper. My hair is super thick with all natural waves and curls. He was supposedly trained and certified by Ouidad in NY. He completely destroyed my hair - cut so many pieces to the root that I had sprouts on top of my head. The salon was dark and dirty and I left with this greasy mess of spiral curls just like his own hair at the time. I called the manager at the Ouidad Salon in NY the following week and they told me that they had so many complaints about this salon that they pulled him back in for training. I remember it being around the Christmas holidays and if I remember correctly it took at least one yr to grow back in for some kind of decent haircut. I recently saw his ad in Phila Style magazine and couldn't believe it. I have to say that women with natural curls have a more difficult time with finding a good stylist. In my own experiences the Best of Philly often turns out to be the worst. I cannot believe all those 5 star ratings.. If there was a zero rating he would surely get it. Anyone else agree?

Great Colorists!. Not only do they do amazing haircuts here, but they have incredible colorists on staff. I went here the other day and got my hair colored and it looks absolutely amazing! They're good at everything!

Great hair!!!. I have had my hair cut and colored by Joseph for years. he never fails to disappoint once again it looks and feels fabulous! I just love it!

Stylish. I have only good things to say about Signacurl. They are professional and friendly. I always have a good time when I go in to the salon and I doesn't hurt that they have coupons. They do amazing work. Keep them in mind when you need to get your done.

Top Notch. I have been getting my haircut by Joseph for a few years now, after years of misery at other salons. I have always had a perfect cut every time. He is magical with curly hair and I have recommended him to several people. The true testimony to his cuts is within the week I am planning on coming to see him for a cut, everyone tells me how great my hair looks!! Even after 3 months!

Won't go anywhere else!. I have been going here for a very long time. I have confused wavy/curly super frizzy hair. I could never figure out how to style it. The first time I came hair I could've sworn they used magic on my hair. It looked so different from my normal mess of a mane, and I loved it! I haven't gone anywhere since!
