They destroyed my hair. I came in wanting to make my light brown, never-been-dyed-before hair blond. I did not want highlights. I did not want to be streaky. I said that if I can't be totally blond, I want to stay brown. After a 25 minute discussion, he convinced me to do highlights and said he would make them very light and I would be essentially blond. The highlights horrible - they started .5 inches away from my roots around my face, the bleach spilled-out all over the top of my head, the color was totally uneven. But what is worse, my hair was totally stripped - it was GREEN AND GRAY. So I had brown hair and white hair. That does not equal blond. I could not comb through it and it was falling out. I paid thinking that maybe I would get used to it ($35 to have it dried! ridiculous). I went back the next day and talked to the owner who agreed that it was terrible and unacceptable. I demanded my money back and he refused but said that they would make me blond, there, on the spot. I refused because I no longer trusted them. When I went to Red Red Red to have it salvaged, they told me that if VOG had processed my hair any further, it would have been completely destroyed - beyond repair - and probably all the highlights would have fallen out. Half my hair. They also informed me that my hair is so light that I did not need bleach (which VOG promised me they don't use - but the reaction that made the color spill out all over my head only happens with bleach - they flat out lied). Red Red Red put some color back into the highlights and it is tolerable. My hair is permanently damaged.

Perfect!. I have been going to VOG for a couple of years and ended up going to a new salon when my stylist left. Big mistake, at the new salon my hair was fried from a bad color job and it was a mess! Anyway, I decided to go back to VOG and had Pascal do my hair this time. When I walked out, I felt like a million bucks! My hair is shiny, bouncy and full of life! Pascal assures me that with a few treatments and some care, my hair should be good to go in a couple of months. It already looks amazing now! I highly recommend Vog to anyone who wants a good haircut, blow dry, color, whatever. This is a great salon and the staff are wonderful too.

Vog - c'est superb. I've been going to Vog for over 14 years and have sent many a satisfied customer there, both men and women.

The international staff speaks a variety of languages and the owner, Pascal trains his staff in the European method Vog International employs throughout Europe.

I've just had my first cut with Christelle, new to the salon direct from France. She's quite talented and very sweet. If you're looking for a cut that's not just another typical American look, go to Vog.

managed hair. Just came back from an "emergency" appointment - my hair was severely chopped all sorts of ugly in Argentina. *Nicole* took me a half hour after I showed up and saved my hair! She is so talented and beautiful - not to mention friendly! Definitely try to make an appointment with this hot hot hair stylist! Everyone who works there is friendly and talented as well!

Vog is the best!. I've been going to Vog for almost eight years, and I won't go anywhere else (even though I live fifty miles away--I'll still drive in just to go to Vog). A haircut always looks great for two months.

Pleasant suprise. I moved to Philly last year and had no idea where to go. I saw Vog one day and just went in. I got an appt. with Nicole. She took me on time, brought me tea and engaged in continual conversation. She is amazing! The type of stylist that knows just what to do with any type of hair. You can show her any picture or give her the worst description of a style and it will come out looking fabulous. I have been to her 4 times and will never go to another hairdresser in Philly. I highly recommend Nicole. I have had 3 friends go and they were all very pleased with her as well, making more than 1 appointment. For the price you pay ($55 without highlights, ~$100 for highlights), it is worth it. Sign up for the mailing list and get coupons regularly for 10-30% off.

Best Haircut of My Life!. Vog only does hair and they are EXPERTS at it! I was with Joelle and she gave me the best hair cut I've ever had. It looks soooooo good! She's really funny, too. Very upscale place. It was $55 for the hair cut and I was skeptical at first...but I realized that it is WELL WORTH IT! They really know what they're doing and will make your hair complement your face....I'm very happy with my cut. Service was so-so. I've been places that serve you wine/cider and the works...this place doesn't do that. But the skill of the stylists is top notch.
