Best of the Best. I am a Main Line native that currently lives in Boston and I still venture the (hundreds!) of miles back to Philly to get my hair cut by Tommy. I have received the most incredible, flattering cuts from him - Tommy is a hair genius. The results are always flawless. I highly recommend the salon and have nothing but the greatest praise.

Artistic and personal. I agree with the other reviewers. Tommy has an artistic flair that shows itself in his hair styling and decor. And his hair cuts are fabulous. This salon is one of Philly's best kept secrets.

Philly's Best Secret. Tommy is by far the best stylist I have ever been to- for both color and cut- his professionalism, skill and lack of pretense is worth the 100 mile drive from Manhattan.

What a find!. Tommy and his staff are really great - a very modern, relaxed, beatuiful, artistic, UNPRETENTIOUS (hooray!) atmosphere. You get personal attention from the minute you walk in the door, and Tommy really knows hair - he gave me a great, great cut... perfect for my hair type and my lifestyle, yet current and fashionable. And it was REALLY affordable. I just can't believe my luck in finding this place, and in finding Tommy. Great!!!

Great skills and knowledge. When I first arrived, I was slightly apprehensive because it did not look like those typical high-end salons with interior designer decor, but a more eccletic and bohemian-like style. But after meeting Tommy and his asst, I knew I was in great hands. Very personalized care and treatment. I just wanted a trim, so I didn't expect much from the haircut, but it was FABULOUS with a great shape and excellent movement. My hair even feels healthier now. I highly recommend Tommy Gentekos!!

Best Salon in Philly. I wouldn't let anyone but Tommy touch my hair. The salon and the staff are all wonderful. You'll definitely come out looking much better than when you came in!
