Editorial Review for The Body Klinic – by Lauren McCutcheon
In Short
Located in a Rittenhouse townhouse, there's scarce elbowroom or privacy--don't be surprised when you hear the doorbell ring during your facial--but it's tidy and cozy. No-nonsense skin care is the specialty. If you're fond of thongs and revealing bikinis, you'll appreciate the thorough hair-removal technicians. Choose oxygen treatments, gentle acid peels, or professional help for your flaky scalp or bumpy back. Body wraps, salt polishes, hot stones, and clay with dry-brushing enhance a roster of basic massages.

False information on Gift Card and Website!! I made an appointment at "one of the locations" which they do not have anymore! When i went to L'Etoile, they were helpful & nice & very accommodating, however, i still have this gift card that i don't use now that i've tried L'Etoile! (hint for everyone, they only have the center city location!!!)

The massage was really good, although the building was cramped and not very spa-like. The employees seemed generally disorganized, and my facial really just was not good. The esthetician kept leaving the room for long amounts of time, and made me feel guilty about my blemishes, suggesting I see a dermatologist and stop eating greasy foods (for the record, my skin isn't THAT bad). Then she went on about the expensive cleansers they sell. They also had trouble ringing up my gift card at the end, but still gave me the credit for it anyway, which was nice of them. I definitely wouldn't go back for a facial, and I probably would not recommend this "spa".
Pros: Good massage, Eyebrow waxing
Cons: Disorganized, rude esthetician
