STOP LOOKING, YOU'VE FOUND THE PLACE. Stop listening to the people complaining! They're just annoyed they didn't get hugs and kisses. Emma is fast and good at what she does. I got a brazilian wax and it took less than 10 minutes, including me getting undress/dressed. Last time I went she had scented wax, it smelled like chocolate. Although, I said no frills, there's that one. Yes, she's not warm and fuzzy, but who would be after dealing with "down there" and cringing women (and sometimes men) all day? There's only one other person who I have gone to and gotten my bikini down --worst decision ever, but I was out of town and needed one badly. Yes, she might talk on the phone or yell russian, but she's good at what she does and works with her family --who doesn't yell at their family everyone and while haha. All in all, go! No need to spend $60+ dollars, if you need someone to be all warm and fuzzy and spill your feeling too go out to coffee with a girlfriend.

you get what you pay for. Emma and her daughter give my the best brow wax in the city. However, Emma is rude beyond belief. She once waxed my brows while on the phone. No lie. But they looked great. I once let her give me a brazilian, I think she used "packaging" tape. It was awful. Total Serenity is much better, but double the price. If you are looking for warm and cozy, this isn't the place.

Best Brazilian. I've been going to International Salon for about a year and have had fabulous results from both Emma and her daughter. They're very thorough and sanitary.

I was so nervous my first time, but it's over in a flash and worth every penny. They're prices are the most reasonable by far, making most clients repeat customers.

It can get busy on the weekends but they keep you moving so the wait time isn't too bad. Definitely worth checking out if you're a first-timer or looking to try a new salon!

ok.... i agree with the person who asked where everyone is getting brazillians. i've been getting them for some time in ny/nj and this might be the best for the PRICE, but you get what you pay for. i've gone 3 times, hoping it would get better, but i'd rather just spend $60 or more bucks somewhere to get it done right. emma is rude, coming out of her room after every customer yelling in russian makes me feel like a seinfeld episode, it makes me want to find a russian speaking friend to go in there with me to see what she's saying about everyone. she leaves hair, slaps wax on any old kind of way and rips without making sure she gets EVERYWHERE, which is the point of getting a brazilian. she says she charges more depending on your "situation", (which i think is fair and funny) but for the extra $ you would think she would at least try to get ALL of that extra hair!!! for those of you who say she's the BEST, if you havent tried someone else, try another place, pay a few more bucks and see if theres a difference. she's ok in a pinch, on a week when $35 is what i can afford, but ONLY then. there are other places in town where you wont feel violated when you leave.

By far the best!!!!. I have been going to the International Salon for over a year. Recently, my fiance, being the nice man that he is, got me a gift certificate to a high end salon in Philadelphia. I paid $80 for a Brazilian. It was the most painful waxing I had ever received. The esthetician took forever and left me bruised and swollen. The entire time all I could think about was jumping off the table and running to Emma and letting her complete the job. Believe me, save your money and head to the International Salon. No frills, but fast and painless. She's the best!!

Great Wax. I had been loyal to my previous waxer for almost ten years but I went to International once in a pinch and I've been going ever since. It's very convenient and you're done in literally 5 minutes. The ladies are a little scary so don't expect to exchange pleasantries or be coddled. It's worth it, though, because they are clean and efficient and Emma also gives great advice on how to care for yourself post wax which is key!

Best and most affordable wax in the city. Emma is absolutely amazing! Her daughter Natasha is just as good! This wax is cheap, a lot less painful than other places I have been too, and SO QUICK. I definitely recommend her. The first time being waxed is by far the most but if you keep up with it and go consistently it barely hurts at all and your hair grows back slower!

Great Wax!. This place is the best! I had never had any waxing done before, and when I read the reviews, I decided to check it out! The women here do a really great job and it doesn't hurt at all! I am an African American woman, and sometimes shaving can cause bumps, but since I've been getting waxed the bumps are going away! You can't beat their prices either! Emma will get you in and out in no time at all! Try it out!

BEST!!!. This is the best waxing place ever!!! I have been a steady customer for 2 years and i will be loyal until I decide to move anywhere else. If you don't try it you'll never know what it's like to go somewhere that you can get in, get bald, pay and leave in 15 min. or less. Leaving there you feel like you just made a great decision and can laugh at anyone who paid upwards of 50 for ANY type of bikini/Brazilian waxing. The one and only Emma is the BEST. End of story.

Best Wax in Philly. I went to get a wax there and Emma worked wonders. It was cheap, quick and painless. She was super friendly and it is clear that she truly cares for her customers.
