Just discovered CitySearch! Wish I'd known about it longer, so I could be writing more reviews! This happened a while back, I don't even remember if my massage was good or not, because the only thing that sticks out in my mind was a member of management screaming at workers as I was waiting for my appointment. (Please see my review of 3000bc for more on this, but:) Management needs to treat people better. Also, never scream in a spa. Just awful, don't waste your time here.

If you're looking for fantastic hair treatment with a personable and professional experience, I fully recommend Toppers spa, specifically Johnny Valentine. I have been a hair stylist hopper until I found him! My hair has never been softer or more vibrant. My color has held very well and was exactly the outcome I wanted- the blonde is not trashy, nor brassy! My hair is also rather thin and the ends split easily, however, since my cut, the ends have held strong and my hair is growing in beautifully. I promise you won't be disappointed :)

I was previously a customer at Saturn Club, where I had the pleasure of meeting Johnny Valentine. After horrible botch jobs at other places, I finally found a stylist that made me happy EVERY TIME. Around Christmas, I called Saturn Club and was told Johnny was no longer there. They refused to tell me his new location. They suggested a stylist and I decided to give her a try. That was the worst hair mistake I ever made. My beautiful long hair was butchered with a razor. Every end was shredded. The highlights were 1-2 inches away from the root and were bright orange. I had a conference in less than 48 hours in Orlando and figured I would need to wear a hat the entire time. The next day, I randomly got an e-mail with Johnny?s new location, Toppers in Rittenhouse. I was so happy! I contacted them to see if Johnny could fix my hair. The salon called Johnny, and he offered to come in on his DAY OFF!!! He fixed the paint-by-number color job by the other girl and gave me the cutest cut. I got a ton of compliments! At that point I decided to never go to another stylist. I?ve seen Johnny twice since, and each cut/style/color has been impeccable! I was in there today and my hospital pager went off 10 times. I kept apologizing, and he reassured me it was fine. He even showed me a quiet place inside the salon where I could return calls. He stayed 1.5 hours after closing to finish. You will NEVER meet such a caring stylist!! I have recommended Johnny Valentine to all my friends and highly recommend him to anyone else. He has a fantastic personality and is a great conversationalist to boot! His color skills exceed those of any other stylist I have ever met. Johnny is a modern stylist with a classic twist, able to give you a trendy cut but adapting it to your look and personality. Do yourself the biggest favor ever?. let Johnny transform that so-so style and color into a beautiful masterpiece. You wont regret it, I promise!
