Very Rude Staff!!. I have to agree with many others regarding the obnoxious staff at this restaurant. My friends and I were treated poorly from the second we entered the restaurant. We were rushed and virtually kicked out the second we finished eating for absolutely no reason at all!! The owner yelled at us across the room and picked a fight with us in front of all the other diners. The pizza may be tasty, but I will never return and will tell everyone I know how horrible this place is.
Miserable Experience. Average pizza and hostile staff- this place was a complete waste of money.
You could not pay me enough to go back!.
This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. Not only were we rushed our entire meal, the owner picked a huge fight with us before we left because we moved a table to give the elderly lady next to us more room.
When my brother in law tried to explain to him why we moved the table he got really nasty and started cursing at us. When we told him we just spent $80 on our meal and didn't deserve to be treated so rudely, he told us to "screw ourselves" and didn't care if we came back or not. I have been in the restaurant industry for twenty years and would never talk to my customers like this. Not only will I never go there again, but I will do everything in my power to discourage others from going there as well.
Pizza - The Italian Way. This restaurant serves the best pizza in the city, made possible by the sauce and thin, crispy crust. Every combination we have tried has been outstanding (I recommend eggplant/sausage or artichokes!) Appetizers and desserts are always fresh, and are often served on the house (especially for regulars). The owner and staff can be moody and sometimes forgetful, but it only adds to the atmosphere. Definitely not a place to sit and chat all night, but otherwise, it is a Philly gem. Check out the photo in the men's bathroom - hilarious.
