My husband and I were married at Top of the Tower this past April, and we can?t imagine a better wedding! We had both the ceremony and reception there and everything went off without a hitch. The staff was amazing throughout the entire process. We had everything we needed, wanted, and more! They answered any questions promptly and made me feel completely comfortable. It was great to work with people who you feel like you can trust from the initial meeting.
Our guests are still talking about the wedding. The food was AMAZING! I highly recommend going with stations to provide variety for your guests. The unique floor plan and layout keeps things interesting and your guests will love being able to utilize the space.
We think about our wedding everyday and wish we could do it all again. Thank you to everyone at Top of the Tower!
WOW!. I just had my wedding reception at TOT, and I had to write this. From the very beginning, the staff (Vanessa, Amy, and Layla, who has since left) was so warm, helpful, and HONEST. Honesty in the wedding business, I later discovered, is unfortunately quite rare! I remember my second visit when I was told by Layla, "Listen, we're not trying to take advantage of you here. We understand the economy and that people still deserve to have an amazing wedding." Of course, the reception was the biggest part of our wedding budget and I was very picky as I searched the entire city for the perfect venue. Looking back, I shouldn't have wasted so much time and gone here first! I requested a few references, and one of them was a wedding planner who highly recommended TOT. What does that tell you? That woman's job is to attend tastings and work with wedding vendors and this was her first choice for her own wedding. Anyway, TOT worked patiently with us and our million questions throughout the year. They always responded with a prompt email and/or phone call, no matter how small our question or concern was. We were blown away at our tasting; forget the rubbery chicken and dry beef you've had at every other wedding! This place has food similar to a Stephen Starr restaurant, no joke. Let's talk about the views; you will lose your breath each time you step off the elevator and see this place. Where else can you see the ENTIRE city, have an amazing meal, and be the talk of your friends and family for weeks? Our guests are STILL talking about TOT a month after--the food (even my aunt, a professional chef for 20 years), the views, and the friendliness of the staff. TOT was very accomodating with our delivery schedules, worked out all the details with our band, photographer, etc, and the night of my reception Lou and Vanessa were so on top of EVERY detail. I was in awe of Vanessa with her blue-tooth walkie-talkie as she calmly communicated with the kitchen, Lou, and probably a few dozen more people behind the scenes who helped make my wedding reception absolutey perfect. Vanessa calmed me down at a few nerve-wracking moments the way I, an elementary school-teacher, probably couldn't do! I cannot say enough about TOT. Do yourself a favor and save time by checking them out for your next event. You can thank me later! ; )
Nothing Bad to Say. I attended an event here recently and all I can say is everything was AMAZING. The view, the food, the service, I can't wait to have an event of my own to plan here cause this will be one of my first choices!
The event was BEAUTIFUL and flawlessly executed. I received nothing but compliments !!!! We raised so much money for our non-profit!
Lou was great! When she found out that we had never conducted a Silent Auction, she set-up and practically ran the Silent Auction for us. I have no idea what I would have done without her.
I cant begin to tell you how much I appreciated all the HELP my team received.
The Staff was friendly and very professional. I look forward to another event at Top of the Tower.!
I assisted in planning an event at this venue, their staff event planner is a nightmare to work with. She takes complete ownership of the event and will not allow anyone to have a say or offer suggestions to make it more appropriate for your expected crowd of guests. She was present throughout the entire event and was RUDE and inconsiderate to attendees and those who helped to coordinate the event.
The food served was cold, poorly prepared, and OVER SEASONED. My steak was extremely tough and salty, and not easy to cut with a BUTTER KNIFE!
The space was hot, yet despite sweating guests and numerous complaints, we were told there was nothing they could do about the temperature!?!?!?!
This is an expensive venue and not at all worth the hassle or investment...take your checkbook and look elsewhere if you're looking to have a nice, stress free event that both you and your guests can enjoy!!!!!!!

horrible experience - unprofessional and too risky to use these people to plan an event. They try to back you into a corner and double the cost a few days before the event.
They tried to tell me that having a budget for an event is classless and that all of her other corporate clients do not have budgets and will pay any amount to hold a "classy" event. They critized me for my menu choices. If it's not good enough for their menu why offer it at all? I took their threat to rent the room to another party and cancelled mine 3 days before it was to happen!!! Beware!!! Also the large room is nice looking, but the other rooms had dirty, stained carpet and seemed confined.
