From The Owner of Devon Seafood Grill

The former Houlihan's is still owned by the same parent company, but the atmosphere is more uptown.

Love it for brunch. Get whatever the quiche of the day is, you won't be sorry.

Devon. The food was very bland, no real unique taste. The place is very nice, service was Ok, but we felt as if we were eating a dietary meal. The waitress gave us two 20 dollar off of 50 cards to use on our next visit, that was nice, might give it a second shot.

Fabulous food matched with outstanding service!. Hubby and I went here for our wedding anniversary and were seated next to the window to enjoy the view. The waitress was very attentive and punctual. We ordered the petite filet in butter sauce and it was one of the best we've had. For appetizers we ordered the prosciutto wrapped scallops and spicy seafood gumbo - simply OUTSTANDING. There is also an ample wine list to pair with the dishes and the waitress' wine recommendations were perfect. After dinner, we chatted with the waitress for a good 20 minutes and genuinely enjoyed our first experience at Devon. We will be returning;-)

Nostalgia. Love this place! Great service, smiles and personality. The happy hour is fantastic, try the lobster tail and shrimp scampi. Not sure what all the fuss is about with Parc but I am truly a devoted Devon fan and look forward to sitting and sipping real soon.

Great food--Great service. We have had some great dinners with friends and clients and always come up big with both the food and the service . Devons has a great staff who make you feel like you are having a personal dining experience every time.

The wait staff (Henry in particular) are very knowledgeable with suggestions and recommendations.

The food is creatively prepared and usually to perfection.

We like to start with the Mussels prepared at the bar -- Delicious!

The Tuna tartar and crabcakes are awesome as well !

All of the fish dishes are fantastic and last time we were in, a couple of the guests picked a beef cut which they raved about.

Always a choice for us -- especially when entertaining

Outstanding!!. I don't usually write reviews but after dining here last night I felt compelled to tell everyone how amazing everything was. I actually ordered the filet mignon and it was honestly the BEST piece of meat I have ever eaten. Great wine list, reasonable pricing, you really can't beat it! Even though its a seafood restaurant I highly recommend the filet, the crab cakes were good too!

Great Food, Great Service. I came here with my boyfriend and my parents last week and was very impressed. Our waiter was one of the most professional I have seen and was very attentive. Our food and beverages came out at a good pace, not rushed, but not slow. The crabcake appetizer was excellent and my swordfish was really well prepared. Everyone I was with enjoyed their meals and I definitely plan to go back.

Just okay, if that.. I went to Devon after having received a gift card in the mail, and went with a group of 6. We were seated in a dark corner, which was fine, and were promptly greeted. The timing of the meal was good, we didn't feel rushed, aside from the fact that our server talked a mile a minute. Three of the fish entrees were overdone, which was appalling to me, considering Devon is supposed to be a seafood restaurant - chefs should know how to cook sushi-grade tuna. Our server recommended an entree they were out of. Overall, unimpressed.

Poor experience. I am a seafood lover and was totally excited to try this place after reading the good reviews. I went with a group of 4 and the overall sentiment after our meal was... "that was just okay." No "WOW" factor. I think they need to shake things up on the menu and with their chef. I was very disappointed with my tuna... I was expecting a good portion of a great piece of fish and since the asparagus was a regular choice for a side I expected them to be large just-from-the-farmers-market-fresh produce. Instead what came was an okay piece of fish cooked medium well even though I ordered it rare and the sadest looking asaparagus I have ever seen- also WAY overcooked. It seems to me that when you specialize in seafood, and keep the menu simple, you better be able to deliver. This place did not impress. Spend your money somewhere else.
