This is a lovely adult store on Walnut street, located below Wonderland. Although quite small, they offer everything from erotic games to lingerie to lotions and lubes. I picked up bachelorette presents for two of my girlfriends' bachelorette parties here, as well as a few discount holiday lingerie items slightly after Christmas. The selection of lingerie is small and does not accomodate all sizes. The store's selection overall is quite small. If you're looking for something with a larger selection in everything, I would go to the Mood on South Street, but for a quick erotic shopping spree- Pleasure Chest is great. Also great for sexy Halloween costumes. PROS: CONS: Small selection

This place is small, but carries a good selction of the types of items you need for a bridal/batchelor party--candies etc shaped like you know what. Also has lubes, massage oils, lingerie, dildos, plugs, beads and even some leather goodies for those who have been naughty. Most importantly, the staff is non-judgemental--I have seen all types in there-- straight couples, gay couples, timid folks, wild looking characters and all races. This place is more natural and has more quality items than most places on south st. (Although Passional is great too!) PROS: nice variety, helpful and non-intimidating staff CONS: not open late, small store

Here's a store beloved by the sexually adventurous set in Philly. What it's doing in swanky Rittenhouse Square is anyone's guess, but I'm not complaining. It's easy to walk past this store every day & never see it, because it seamlessly blends right into the brownstones it sits among, but hopefully, you'll take a peek inside. They have lots & lots of sex toys, gag gifts, costumes, lingerie & erotic paraphernalia, a very helpful staff, & best of all, no dirty-old-man vibe. Most of the customers who shop here seem to be in their 20s & 30s. Outside of South Street, there really are no adult entertainment stores worth going to, unless you're looking for the seedy & sordid pits along 13th St.
