Terrible owner and rude staff. We are center city residents and shop there all the time but you are always treated like you are bothering them and now I know why the owner is a rude creep! It a shame as I purchased a lot of items there.

Bad for Business. I used to frequent the Great Scott market and I used to like the food I got but lately they have grown lazy and the food has dropped in quality. I bought spoiled Chicken, melted ice cream, spoiled sour cream, and mouse ridden tortilla chips from Great Scott over the last 3 months. I think this market is too small and too expensive to allow things of this nature to occur. Ive never bought a bad grocery item from an ACME or a Super Fresh and they are very large grocers, I just dont understand how this stuff goes unnoticed or unchecked in a place the size of my apartment. Clean up your act!

Worst produce that I have EVER tasted. In a quarter of a century, I haven't tasted such terrible produce. Yes it looks fresh and it may even smell good. The apples smell sweet but there is absolutely no sweetness in the flesh, it is like eating cardboard. The vine-ripened tomatoes smell great but they have absolutely no taste. The navel oranges too have this problem. Frankly it is unbelievable to me. On top of that, they charge insane prices. I'd rather pay $1.50 to get an orange at the airport that tastes like an orange than pay 50 cents per orange here that tastes like wet fiber. SHAME on you, Great Scot Supermarket!
